Since the in-season tournament [now NBA Cup] started, the number of injuries have hit bonker numbers with the ridiculous scheduling. So Hopefully most of: Scottie, Gradey, Mogbo, RJ, Poeltl, Walter, Ochai and Chomche (even if he barely gets NBA minutes- possibly IQ) can stay healthy and ill remain hyped all season long.
One thing I did not like was RJ being on the bench for nearly the entire 4th quarter. We were coming back despite having both Ochai and Davion on the court and they were doing nothing on offense.
He’s a massive negative on defence. It was the correct call rj doesn’t fit on this team nor is he a good player down the line for roster optimization. Hes inefficient, turnover prone, and can’t defend.
@@Jadam134 total nonsense, he's been arguably the second best player on this team. Any problems he has on defense are completely overruled by his offense, which he hasn't been inefficient on, contrary to your belief. He also averages les turnovers than Scottie; are you going to call him turnover prone too? Also his on-ball defense is good, it's only his off-ball defense that is bad. His defense is better than Ochai and Davion's offense last night.

Scottie goes for high risk high reward passes which result in alot of open shots mind you he’s also drawing doubles. This is why when you look at the analytics of this team we generate some of the highest open looks for our team mates. This is both a result of darkoball and Scottie. Rj is effective at passing because he gets into the paint deeper and either makes a pass to the rolling big or a kick out 3. Yes RJ is inefficient he’s taking up most of the usage of this team and is resulting in a .550 TS% you can see it being most evident in road games. And no rj is not our second best player, nor did he play well on defence yesterday and nor did he a better job on defence than the other two you replied with. If you actually watched the game the reason why RJ was sat was because he had 5 fouls BECAUSE of the fact he’s weak on defence and was consistently attacked by kyrie and Luka. This was in response to you saying he is a bad defender, which isn't true. Jakob also had 5 fouls and he played pretty much the entire 4th quarter. In the last few minutes you have to risk it and have your best players in, even if they are at 5 fouls.

Mogbo's 2024 scouting report is basically the same as Scottie's 2021 scouting report.
Yeah, they’re definitely similar kinds of players, although Scottie is bigger and was a more highly touted prospect.
I think Mogbo's finishing package is nowhere near where Scottie's was, but his handle is better.
His defense is probably better as well.
I've always said Scottie's peak is a 25 ppg scorer and averaging a near, if not, triple double.
