probably because more than half of music was done using parts from existing music from older games, in all honesty. There's a reason PSO2 is basically "Reference: The Videogame", unlike ngs that is mostly tried to do its own thing while being attached to base.

Sega excels at creating a vivid mental image of the areas. Even after years of not playing, I can distinctly recollect the precise appearance of the locale, the colors, and even the monsters. If this doesn't demonstrate their masterful composition skills, I'm uncertain what would.
A true masterpiece. I remember when the global server launched, this song and the atmosphere captivated me. I prefer the music from pso2 then ngs tbh.
I prefer almost everything from PSO2 compared to NGS. NGS lacks depth and soul.
