When you were talking to John about how to be a country musician while still being a Christian, it reminded me of the incident you had recently where you gave up $10,000 because you did not want that wet t-shirt contest connected with your show. Appreciated the cleaning up the garage analogy. As always, great job today!

Granger, I have to admit I haven't watched or listened to any of your stuff before until I saw your sermon and saw the heading for this podcast. I enjoyed listening to the sermon and the God/Christian related topics on the podcast. Thank you for keeping it real and level headed and speaking the truth. Hope you can continue to share God's word.

I’ve lost 4 family members in such a short time frame .. i asked myself the same question … Why would God do this? Until I said Lord I lay this at your feet because I can’t do this by myself anymore… He handled it ,, the burden was lifted from me and he took all the weight … I cannot begin to tell you the change of my mental mind… Lay it at his feet .. he will take it and deal with it …🙏❤️

Hey brother... I just wanted to let you know that my wife and I really enjoy your music (you can thank Matt Carriker for that, as we were introduced to you via Off The Ranch). However, your music takes a back seat to how much I appreciate you sharing your faith. Given your main gig, I can only imagine that this is more difficult for you than the average Joe. It is encouraging to see you being faithful with the much that God has entrusted to you. Keep being salt & light in the bland and dark places :)

I so loved this podcast Granger ! So many good questions and touching remarks from you. Sharon's question and your answer really touched my heart in a big way! The question about WWll hit home. My Grandparents sent all 3 of their sons, one being my Daddy, off to war. All in the Army. My Uncle was a bomber and was shot down over Germany. He survived but was taken in as a POW. To the day he died he could not any form of potatoes. All they were given were the peels of potatoes. He was released and came home. I received my Daddy's diary while he was serving as a radio operator during the war. Amazing reading. I was so moved even as a child listening to my 3 Uncles, my Aunt married a Navy man who also served in WWll, and my Daddy when they would sit and talk to us kids about what they went through for our country. My Uncle who was a POW, often would sit quietly when certain places would be mentioned. Bless his heart. Thank you Granger for this podcast !! God bless you and keep you and your family. Baby Maverick should be here soon !!

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
    Ephesians 2:10 NIV
God has given you a platform to be able to spread the gospel & His word. That is what this world needs in the worst way right now is to know Jesus and be led to His truths. You being born again and sharing your story was part of His plan for you! You have the opportunity to plant the seed of the gospel of Jesus Christ to so many who need Him! Run with it brother, you did a fantastic job preaching! You being vulnerable and telling your story of how God has made beauty from ashes, people will actually see Him working in you and through you from your testimony! You changing who you used to be to align yourself with who He's calling you to be is not readily accepted in this world, but continue to follow His plan & hopefully others will see His light through your actions! God bless you and your family and keep spreading His word!

For my own situation I rarely listen to a mainstream country music radio station. If I listen to radio, I do listen to a Christian network. I don’t claim it’s 100% Biblically accurate but I can relate to the songs more. I have also learned from some of the songs, instigating me to search for verses or explanations. But I always have Country Things in CD player and My Savior on iTunes when needed 😊

Not sure about all those versions of Bibles, personally, I'm a KJV, textus receptus believer...the others seem to be "conformed to the world" somewhat...& copyrighted??? The Bible is free for whosoever wants to read it!!!!

the copyright you can't argue with. In context, of the whole Bible,[Pharisees/scribes killing our Lord, Jesus turning over tables in front of the temple..etc...] I am leery of people who make big money off the word[copyright laws= lawsuit if not properly disseminated] I understand if English isn't your first language, however, the research I've done & the history of the other versions leaves me suspect. I also loved the history part of this podcast .. WW2 was a terrifying time for the world but an awe-inspiring one too. My grandmother lived through the bombing of London before she came to live in SA. Our generations need an understanding of the why's and how of WW2 .. but sadly they don't seem to get it. I did a trip to London for 75th anniversary of D-Day with my son who is also a WW2 history fanatic.. it was incredible! Have a blessed week!
