Stunning. I love my home to be similar to my fashion style and this is it. I can’t stand pictures of people anywhere in any room, except my office. I love the warmth of wood engaged with clean lines and color pallets that speak of the personality of the person living there. I also love the coolness of stone in a room. One of my favorite designing elements. ❤

I really liked some of the choices for seating in every room. And I thought the color of the paint that was used for each room was a perfect choice. I love different paint colors, to me it really reflects an individuals personality and depending how you you choose the fabric color and texure is very important.

The biggest single difference between bourgeois and opulent is wall treatment. Yes there’s much more overall, but the upper middle class will allow painted or papered drywall, while you never see a wall that hasn’t been fully incorporated into the overall design in a truly high end environment.

...and noticed that I am heavily steering that way in my kitchen.
The fish that has fleas below in the comment section I will ignore as I saw something completely different which helped me because I had been struggling between art deco and french country. NEITHER. Glam. I love the idea of a jewel tone walls as I have warm furniture and accents. I have a galley kitchen, but I think this could work. Lots of gold/brass/glass/with a touch of silver metal metallic.
Maybe do the walls in a deep glossy blue-green called Oceania, I think from Home Depot Behr paint

It's like all of these interior designers is like they live at Restoration Hardware 😆 but, if they patiently staked out that niche market, then they deserve all the accolade...
Home Depot blew an opportunity to compete with them.
Because RH does need some competition because they are ridiculously pricey... but it needs the need.
You got to keep your wife from watching stuff like this, because it becomes a keeping up with the Joneses trigger 😆

Lots of unidentified, contorted furnishings and objects. At 4.08 one ottoman sitting on another. At 6.59 faucet is beside the sink.At 7.33 2 ottomans inside the sofa.At 7.53 arson armchairs won't allow people to sit.At 18.39 what is on the table ? At 19.48 what is it ?Also 19.58 .At 20.12 what is behind the sofa? At 20.23 desk ,piano ?At R.side of sofa ,what are they ?At 26.07 weird table and gold rod ?At 28.40 glass side table ? At 42.44 chair on a chair ? By the way ,you were stating the obvious people know that mirrors get more light, or to use statement peices. Theoretically we know ,practically ,WHO HAS THIS KIND OF ROOMS, DRESSING ROOMS, BATHROOMS ETC, so your suggestions are not practical Also when the heading suggests to incorporate art pieces, there wasn't a singe art piece in that segment !

I think it's you, when you are so used to hustling to the point where the fine things in life look sad and gloomy to you, you are used to cheap looking flashy maintainable things that you cannot wrap your mind around how you can handle fine things. That's where you get the strength to criticize.
