Food in Miracle Mile 🤣😜 Nah the Holidays are Nice in LV , the Best Conventions are Happening I like the Prices of things in The Outlets for Christmas no Clowns Looting in Vegas Like they doing the next state over
When I used to go to Las Vegas the Hotel/Casinos were pretty much right off the sidewalk, Barbary Coast, Flamingo, Imperial Palace, Sands, Riviera, Silver City, Frontier, Stardust, Holiday Inn Boardwalk, Alladin etc. So easy to walk, even in the heat, and just pop in and out. The game changers were Mirage, MGM Grand, Luxor, Excalibur, but they had attractions to draw you in.
The properties that built at a distance from the Strip had moving walkways for a while, but they were broken down so often, they just decided to remove them.
Man when retail hits wall Vegas gonna be brutal .....or maybe theres just too many people passing thru Vegas for it to ever feel it. Boggles my mind how much retail there is and they're still adding more and more.
Hey guys great show as always. Always look forward to seeing more Vegas content. I agree the strip is starting to look like Times Square, packed with people and nowhere to go. I really miss the 80’s and 90’s Strip.
Weird Al, snd his band, are amazing performers. They’ve done parodies of dozens of headlining artists and ‘style parodies’ of just as many (an original song but performed in a way similar to a particular artist/band) his announced opener could be a headliner in his own right; an incredible voice.
We Definitely in Some Crazy Times 550 Drones & Fireworks, But don’t show up 🙄To Watch The Trop take a Flop 😳 Bottled Blonde Wonder if their Prices will Match Ol Red Expensive Menu and Drinks , yes can’t Wait to See what’s at the food court in Miracle Mile Eagles full show at the Sphere is on this Platform some lady Recorded the concert 😳Allegiant Menu Prices 🥵🥵💦 ! Taco Bell Nice place for F-1. VIP seats !shhh🤫Secret Wattaburger Balcony VIP ,Tickets , Don’t Tell Anyone !! secret spots unless you get a Cosmo Room North Tower Fountain View ,
The Bellagio sidewalk shutdown and the new construction in front of Horseshoe really makes for a choke point to moving from north to south and vice versa on the Strip. Almost like someone wants there to be two separate strips.
Years ago at the MGM grand they had a zombie shooting game with guns. I watched two young guys clean up with their fast reflexes. I'm guessing that machine didn't payout well for the house which is why we don't see more of them.
The public may not be invited to watch the Tropicana explosion, but a lot of people are going to be out there when it happens. I'm visiting Las Vegas that week for unrelated reasons and hotels on the Strip for that Tuesday and Wednesday night are either sold out or going for ultra-premium prices. It's cheaper to stay on the Strip on Friday and Saturday that week than Tuesday and Wednesday!
The implosion has to do with insurance. Asbestos/dust just invites people making health lawsuits. People could make the claim they had publicly available areas ,and now have medical issues, and the Trop didn't provide a safe viewing
10,000+ cases of cancer from the dust from the WTC collapse. The EPA investigated it and most of the cases were from the Respirable Silica and it forced them to really reduce the exposure limits.
Cosmo has always been my go to, I Love it. I'm not really in Love with MGM as of now but time will tell. Cosmo has always had crappy Wi-Fi. My comps are still good so I'll continue to book at Cosmo since I go 6-7 times a year. Good show guys
After your wedding at Taco Bell Chapel you can head to Palm Springs for the honeymoon at the Taco Bell Hotel called the Bell. The hotel plumbing is most excellent.
In another video about the walkway I brought up the rolling of luggage over the carpet and got blasted for it lol - it's so funny how no one seems to think it's a problem until they actually have to roll their luggage over it. 😅
Someone (maybe you) mentioned it in the comments on the last video so I was paying close attention. There are actually columns on the sides too so you are stuck in sections of rolling on the carpet.
@@Milestomemories I think it was Ruby or Jacob's video, but yeah. I see the sides, and if you can maneuver around the columns then it should be fine. My luggage tends to be heavy (long stays, camera equipment etc) so I dread carpets. I'm staying at Vdara now by the way so howdy neighbors!
I had the opportunity to go to a World Cup game in 1994. Took the relatively short drive from Cleveland to Detroit (Pontiac Silverdome) to see Romania vs Switzerland. Absolutely amazing experience. Mark, you're right, with the U.S. sharing host with Canada and Mexico in 2026 we lost some cities as hosts that we had in 1994.
A hint to bypass the bottleneck. Go into the Cromwell and exit side door, cross Flamingo to Horseshoe side door, go straight across to the 'alley' to Paris and out the front door of Paris. I use this route when there's 100+ temperatures on the Strip or it's monsoon season.
Stayed at the cosmo for the first time 2 weeks ago. Fountain view suite with the soaking tub by the window. Wife and I loved the room and the view. However, the terrace was filthy and the glass below the railing was filthy. Almost couldn't see through it. If we walked out there with no shoes on our feet would be very dirty after. Also, none of the automation on the iPad they give you in the room worked nor the switches by the bed to control the lights. A couple of the outlets had burn marks on them and were melted from people plugging in things that possibly could have caught fire. Our room could have used some repairs. But overall a good experience and I would stay there again.
That’s the stuff I worry about with MGM. We’ve seen at Aria that maintenance hasn’t been great. I didn’t experience any of that stuff with my room but not great to hear.
I haven't stayed at The Cosmo in almost a decade but I'm there often when I'm in town. I go there mostly for their bars and restaurants. Momofuku, The Henry, Block 16, Jaleo and STK are some of my favorite places to get meals on the Strip.
Enjoyed my recent stay at Nomad. Got a free upgrade to a suite and lived how quiet the Nomad floor/room was. Staff was great. All that being said I still prefer the Cosmo.
That’s good. I think they should just do that permanently because I saw tons of people confused and others upset who had checked in at Paris and not realized how long the walk is. They’ll figure it out. They do have that mini desk in Horseshoe but it wasn’t staffed when I visited around check-in time.
I can pick any spot between the Paris and Horseshoe, knock a hole in the wall on the second floor and build a hallway straight across the street. Why would they build a maze to navigate just to get you from one side of the road to the other? Where's the chicken in all of this and why did he cross the road? I'm already sick of F1. I will never understand why they want to run that race down the busiest strip of asphalt east of LA. It's such a niche thing that benefits so few... of course, they have the money.
ALL about the money… that is the root of all decisions from the government to corporate America… they could care less about who gets their feelings hurt.
@@MH_6160 it's not about hurt feelings, it IS about the money. They could run that race around a track anywhere in the whole of the desert... they could circle Las Vegas a dozen times.. and still not cost all of the areas of Vegas that aren't on the Strip their existence. Tearing up the iconic strip every year to run a few cars down it, behind fences so you can't see them is stupid. Easy for me to say, since Im not benefitting from the race. lol.
Regarding the Fertita property at LVB and Harmon: I think it's weird that there's no use of that space during F1. Whether Fertita does it, or issues a short term lease. I expected them to try to do something with the old Tex-Mex place last year...they could set up some stands this year. LVB onto Harmon is a major turn in the race course. Clone what they do around the Sphere.
i remember reading a comment on vegas matts video along time ago when he was playing the crane game. apparently its illegal to have a skill game in the casino lol or something i know theirs a major reason the cant or wont ever do that but its been along time since i read that though but i swear thats what someones said it
It’s a legal differentiation, games of chance vs games of skill. Casinos can have the former and not the latter and, in most places, things like carnivals and fairs can have the latter but not the former. A game of chance is a completely random game. Blackjack and poker squeak by because no matter how good you are at the game, you are still subject to the randomness of the cards. A game of skill, like knocking bottles over with a baseball, might seem random but you can, through practice, win the game regularly. Places like Excalibur get around this by having each in their own distinct and separate areas.
Mine show up but error out. And sometimes don’t show up. Also no check-in either way. The reservation did show up before the stay but the stay itself did not show most of the time while active.
@@Milestomemories very interesting. I stay there next month and that stay was booked directly through Cosmo before the merge, but it definitely shows up on the app. Then I have a stay in December that I booked through the app that also shows up. They have a Versailles tower check in at horshe close to the Versailles elevators. We stayed at the suites with the pool table last month. It's pretty cool, but not $2000/ night cool.

It’s insane when you think about it.
The reason why the world cup is in Mexico, USA and Canada is because they're upping the teams from 32 to 48. More games means they need more stadiums.
Hey guys great show as always. Always look forward to seeing more Vegas content. I agree the strip is starting to look like Times Square, packed with people and nowhere to go. I really miss the 80’s and 90’s Strip.
Is it just me that Werid Al looks like he can be related to Howard Stern
Love love love planet Hollywood vibes. I stay at cosmo and gamble at planet Hollywood!
Video game slots makes no to little sense to me, If i wanted to play video games I would get a Xbox and save a ton of cash
Time Stamps are from your previous video :)
🤦♂️ Thanks! Fixed now.

The Weird Al concert, but the fact Puddles Pity Party is part of it makes it more exciting. That guy's voice is great.
I've always wanted to be the 207th view! Dreams do come true!

Weird Al and Puddles will be an amazing show, Puddles vocals are top notch go see them I am!
F1 ruining Vegas again. Will never visit between Labor Day and New Year's because of it.

I hope MGM upgrades the WiFi soon. I have amnesia and always forget how bad it is until I’m staying there again and running into issues. 😂
It’s probably just the area…it’s always been like that. Also, the Linq has poor internet.

Nomad is great. Another dark hotel, but I love the unique feel of the rooms. Hard to beat a Cosmo terrace though.
A friend told me that they closed down Bellagio's room service kitchen for cleanliness. Did you guys hear anything about that?
I saw it on Twitter but nothing more than the headline. I think the EDR too.
The Cosmo is too small on the gaming floor. Sportsbook is OK. RJ Bell's favorite spot.
That’s true. The size and shape are a downside.
But the real question is: does Cosmo still have Five Wits bathroom products? 🙏
Can confirm!
the two times i stayed at versailles i checked in at the versailles checkin in horseshoe, easy peazy
It wasn’t open on my visit. I think with the bridge they may be making people check-in at Paris. They do have kiosks though.
Have they fixed the Elevators at Miracle Mile Shops yet?
Which elevators? The parking garage elevators all seemed to be working.
Here at Horseshoe now. They will check you in here for the Versailles tower
