This Tiramisu recipe is truly impressive! I love how it manages to be deliciously indulgent while also being free from dairy, grains, and refined sugar. The presentation is spot on, and the layers look so tempting. The use of alternative ingredients showcases creativity, making this dessert accessible to those with dietary restrictions without compromising on taste. The step-by-step instructions make it seem achievable for even those with limited baking skills. The video quality and editing are well-done, allowing viewers to follow along easily. The close-up shots of each layer being assembled add a nice touch, making it visually appealing. I appreciate the emphasis on healthy ingredients without sacrificing the essence of a classic Tiramisu. It's great to see a recipe that caters to a variety of dietary preferences. Overall, a fantastic video that not only inspires but also educates on how to make a delightful treat with a health-conscious twist.
That’s funny cause I can’t stand him or his comments. The way he pretends his tasting the food and criticizing every part. That’s not supportive at all. Supportive would be to stay of and away from her videos and stay quite!!
I feel so grateful seeing this pop up in my subscription box! I had been looking for tiramisu recipes just yesterday and none were to my liking. I’m so excited to try this out! Thank you!!
Can we appreciate the amount of work, detail, authenticity, artistic qualities, and more that Petra consistently provides to us in addition to a decadent dessert? Thank you for your consistency. By the way, you guys do not age! You both look awesome, but the tiramisu “takes the cake”! 😊
Pro tip- you can sub any white bean (cannellini work great!) for the cashews in any WFPB recipe. Its a 1:1 ratio (eg 1/3 c cashews= 1/3 c white beans.) It's cheaper And lower fat- wins all around!! (*But the beans are cooked, ofc, so it wouldnt still be a raw dish, if that's important to you.)
That's a great tip!! I heard about substituting cashews for white beans but never tried it. I bet it would be similar to black bean brownies. If you get a chance, it would be wonderful if you could copy and paste your comment on my blog under the recipe (nutritionrefined.com/raw-tiramisu/), so other people would know about it. Thank you so much!

This looks really delicious. I don't make a lot of deserts but I will try this. Also, love how you made the ying/yang symbol design in the food processor with the lady fingers just before you blended them!!
Love this is Vegan as I have a family history of Cancer so need to avoid the estrogen and possible BLV in dairy and the choline and lead in eggs--thanks so much
May I ask what type of cancer you're talking about? Just curious, I know it's a private question and I'm sorry if it bothered you. My family (from mum's side) has also cancer history but luckily I don't have the gene that causes a higher risk of that type of cancer
Another outstanding recipe of yours. Thank you very much for so much effort. Your printing explanations are the most professional and accurate guide I have ever seen.
Was just considering what to make for dessert this weekend for my friends...then your video popped up! Great timing. Gonna make this. Sending love & hugs from Germany!❤❤ I enjoy watching your videos and trying the recipes.
Thank you Petra for this wonderful recipe! Tiramisu is my favorite desert but cant eat the traditional one bc of tge heavy, unhealthy ingredients. Now i cannot wait to try your recipe! I really appreciate all tge hard work uou put into your recipes- your channel is my favorite! ❤
First of all this looks Amazing. Second, I have not watched this channel in a few years (sorry! I subscribe but i dont Watch recipes that much anymore so of course it doesn’t come up in my feed) but I loved how the aesthetic and flow of this channel is still the same as before! I really dislike changing a good thing just for the sake of it. 👏
Hopefully, you can come up with a tiramisu recipe without nuts 🤔🤗 I never get notifications for your videos. I have been your subscriber for a very long time (changed id a couple of times).
I think a nut-free version would be doable, using seeds instead of nuts (or even oats if not grain-free). The cream would likely be a challenge because it would either have to be all coconut or - if you were fine with soy - silken tofu... you might need to click the bell to get notifications :) Thank you so much for your support!
Ooof, that looks fantastic. But it seems to be on the small side. Also, I guess if your blender is not so good, it won't be creamy enough. But I sooo need to make it.
The springform pan I used was 6 inch in diameter. Cashews are a soft nut, so as long as you soak them for a few hours, they should blend pretty well. Hope you enjoy the recipe :)
As always, amazing work Petra, congratulations and thanks to you and your husband! I’m wondering about the top layer shape. In the thumbnail pic of the video it’s not flat like it is in the video. How do yo do a shape like the one in the picture? 😊🙏🏻
Thank you so much! I transferred the cream into a piping bag and let it chill. Then, I piped it (without any piping tip). I play around with recipe all the time. With this one, you kind of have to learn how quickly the cream begins to firm up in the fridge. If it gets too stiff, you won't be able to pipe (but in that case, you can just leave at room temperature until it softens again. Let me know if you have any questions :)
Hey Petra! I noticed here you made a walnut crust instead of using the ladyfinger layer again, but in your website you doubled the ladyfinger layer. There’s no written amounts for the walnut crust on your site; could you provide them here please? I want to make two different layers as well ☺️🙏🏻
Also, do you use cocoa or cacao powder? I understand they’re two different things, right? the recipe sometimes mentions cocoa and the ingredient link is to cacao 😊
@NutritionRefined Please write the correct recipe in the description. The one at your link is different then this video. I can not check all 217 comments to find your answer to similar questions. I beleive there were some. What is the measure of the pan?
Ah yes. So sorry about that! The crust was 1 cup of walnuts, 1 cup of Medjool dates and 1 tsp. espresso powder. If you're following the printable recipe (and want to make the crust), make sure to half the ladyfinger layer. (In the printable recipe, I doubled the ladyfinger layer and used it as both the bottom and the middle layers). Let me know if you have any questions.

Such a wonderful and healthy dessert you prepared, amazing to look at and taste, why to name it tiramisu which is an absolutely unhealthy dessert to eat,you can give this dessert your own name.Let the Italians have tiramisu.
A great question! You're right - maple syrup is technically not a raw ingredient. However, because it’s minimally processed and most of the nutrients are still intact, it’s used in raw desserts quite a bit. If you’re on a strict raw food diet, you can always replace maple syrup with agave syrup.
