Thank you 👏👏👏👏 I watched your video then purchased the KKCOBVR Q3 PRO In a word very very comfortable the problem I had with the quest 3 headset it was hurting my head painful this head set is a game changer at 76 yrs old still flying MSFS 2020 I started with Microsoft 1983/4 😵💫 thank you again ♥️
Good video. I would like to mention a couple of other things not included in your vid for people who are interested in this. The reason I purchased the KKCOIBVR Q3 PRO forthe Quest 3 is because it can be moved totally forward with the ratchet controls at the side and then flipped back over the top of the forehead, so the halo stays on your head with your Quest 3 above your forehead (like a welders mask) and out of the way so you can see and do things easily, then flip it back down, tighten up the ratchets and you're good to go. The other thing is that the battery won't charge the Quest 3 whilst on charge itself. The battery keeps the Quest 3 fully charged when playing Golf+ for a few hours, but also takes a few hours to charge, so I am going to purchase a spare battery from Amazon in the Black Friday deals as it is 20% off, so only £23.99. I shall just use these instead of the Quest 3 battery, and maybe once a month allowthe Quest 3 battery to run down just to keep it active. Following this method should the KKCOBVR batteries ever deteriate they will be cheaper and easier to replace than the headset battery. Hope this info helps.
My Quest 3 is rocking the Globular Cluster CMQ3. I am not a fan of batteries strap to my head and just keep a battery pack in my pocket. That is a really nice looking head strap you are demoing though. Looks very premium.
I know this a bIt OCD, but it would have looked more cohesive if that front strap was black too. It throws the aesthetics off for me. Looks super comfy though.

Looks super cool! I'm so excited to jump into the world of VR. The only experience I've had with it was Google Cardboard years ago, and then something called "The Void" that used to be at Downtown Disney. And I already thought Google Cardboard was kind of cool, so I'm sure the Quest 3 will blow me away haha! I'm trying to upgrade everything to get the best possible experience right off the bat. Here's what I'm planning on buying as of this moment: Quest 3 128 GB KKCOBVR Q3PRO (with an extra battery) Globular Cluster F3 KEFINE Delci (Some pretty nice in ear monitors to help make the audio more pristine). Anyways, I've been enjoying your channel a lot. I like your demeanor and presentation style. Looking forward to seeing what you do next. Subbed!

My issue with all the aftermarket headstraps (which are still all leagues better than what the 3 comes with ofc) are those rotating joints near the attachment point. They always let the back of the headset slip up the back of my head no matter what i have tried. The Rift S had a perfect headstrap design
I have a Bobo, but because of this video I just ordered one of these to see if it's more comfortable. I shave my head, so anything that pushes too much in one area gets to be uncomfortable. And since the Bobo only has the forehead rest and those little "fingers" that go on top of the head, the weight gets focused in the upper forehead. I like the idea of this top strap design with the halo because I want to use Immersed and have my work displays 100% in headset, but right now, with the Bobo, I can only do 3 or so hours before my forehead fatigues. Hopefully this helps.
@@GameOnScorpio well, I've been using the new strap and I love it. I've even listed my Bobo with 2 batteries and charging dock for sale. Thanks for this video and the recommendation.
Have you tried this without the gasket? In the S3, I basically had the lenses touching my eyelashes to get maximum perceived fov to get rid of the binocular effect. when the headset is up that close, you need to angle it at an upward angle away from you so you hit that huge sweet spot.
The only thing I don't like is the grayish off-white looking strap that just goes across the upper front of the headset and connects to the black part over the head. It throws the whole thing off. It should have been black and had it's own slot just below the upper slot.
@ImGerald I think the reason they went with that colour strip was to try and blend in more as it crosses the halostrap, which is white. If it was a black strip, crossing over the white halostrap might have stood out more. Just my thoughts, though.
@@GameOnScorpio I see what you're saying. I just feel they could have done a better job. But because of your review, and other videos I've watched, I'm going to order it.
I liked the OG strap on the Quest 2... but I couldn't get on with the Quest 3 OG strap... Hey, if it works for you and it's comfortable, that's all that matters!
Is it worth buying the Globular Cluster F3 to pair with this, or do you think the facial interface that comes with the KKCOBVR is plenty comfortable enough? I also thought it'd be easier when taking out the interface whenever playing MR games (as I heard it added more FOV 🤔🤔)
I actually have the Globular Cluster F3 here to review, so keep a look out for that video "soon"... but in the meantime this is a good one to check out too: th-cam.com/video/7ozZ9E2p3Ko/w-d-xo.html
@@GameOnScorpio for the price I was surprised how well made the headstrap is and the comfort is great with all the padding, and with the 10000 Mar battery I can easily get 4 hours of gameplay I also got the globular cluster headstrap for the psvr2 which was the same price £50 so 2 headstraps for £100 compared to the bobo s3 Pro which £109 on its own.
I also use the KKCOBVR headstrap. Its cheaper than the BOBOVR one which only comes with a 5200mAh battery. Bought this one 1 week ago, but the version without the battery. It's pretty good. But I can't handle buzzing noises of battery's. so I will go for a separate power pack.
You may have the old backplate version that caused buzzing. If your wire doesnt have the little black piece attached on it, like he does on video, and it is just a straight wire with nothing on it, then you have the old one that buzzes. Their support is great, got response right away and they sent new updated backplate (the the thing the battery goes on) right away. Buzz went away.
No way that battery lasts for 5 hours. Either you transitioned to the internal Quest battery without knowing it, were running at 60Hz, dimmed your screen, or had the 'battery saver' function on. All of which will kill the Quest's intended performance.
