Come on Billy! Two great tournaments in a row. Hopefully he can go even further.
One very winnable match away from cracking the top 100. Everybody is so high on Draper right now, but this to me is a way more exciting British storyline!
A lucky loser, a qualifier, a wildcard, and a #1 seed walk into a bar... This is one weird semifinals lineup.
i feel bad for nishioka, beating vukic in qualifying then losing to him in a third set tiebreak by 2 points must be tough...
Right, talk about lucky loser, wow.
5-2→5-7
Fritz won, but Shang is the future. His game is so elite.
Kudos to Vukic, hair spinning nerve wracking match that was. One point close 2 match, next thing U know he is behind in tie break, *KEPT his nerve calmly **executed his shorts and alas, Urika, managed to find winning shots! Many congratulations from US to Vukic, very well executed indeed!
purcell's forehand was top 3 level today.
I don't know why he was slicing it all the time, was it some kind of tactic to play in the windy conditions ?
Cobolli's late grunts are sheer hindrance
Good to see a British player play attacking tennis. Billy Harris going places 🎾
Nah
When you cut the beginning of points like this, people on TH-cam won't be able to see how sub-optimal Harris' service motion is
well, the channel's aim over the years has never been to prove Harris' sub-optimal service motion so😂
why would most people care about Harris's service motion in particular?
Doesn't seem to matter too much with 70%+ first serve percentage. What's your ATP rank btw?
Losers love to tell themselves how much prettier their strokes are than those of the winner.
nishioka choke man i lost my mind 5.-2 to 5-7 poor..
Cause “he left the back door open..” says the commentator 😂
Harris' the secret brother of Fuscovic
The wind defeated everyone 6-2, 3-6, 7-6.
Kecmanovic is a good player, I wish him a good came back one day
I feel like the court is 2x bigger😂
Vukic always seems to grunt quite loudly but not actually hit the ball hard, lol
Its nervous energy, and players try to keep everything the same, so even if they are trying to grind a bit and hit a slice they will grunt the same way they hit a winner.
HARRIS IS SIMILAR TO MARAT SAFIN
Maybe so but why the shouting?
He reminds me a bit of Kevin Anderson (especially the forehand) as a tall big server too.
SPOILER BLOCKERR!!!!!
Man, gotta be annoying playing against Purcell
Shang played really well, especially given how much top spin he was playing with. If he learns to flatten out his shots, he's going to be very very dangerous
I was there. his shots were ultra flat... Just a difference between 1-2 points. Was also ULTRA windy, without top spin ball would go striaght into net...
I saw his top spin has some of the Nishikori style ...that's the secret weapon...and ...it works
It's hard to win consistently if you hit the ball super flat. When you're on, it's great, but at this level, the ball is only going to come back harder. I'm thinking of Struff, here.
I watch a fair amount of him, he really does have an incredible flat forehand when it’s on, he just wasn’t using it as often as he usually does
Shang is going to have his moment and his winning run in due time. He has been knocking at the door for a while now.
He will be still knocking, if he doesn't develop better weapons. Unlike Zhang, who is taller and stronger, Shang will need something else to give him an edge.

5:52 that annoying fucking announcement during the point 😂
somebody make it a copypasta 😂
Match called, Court 2, will the following please report to security: Neal Skupski, Michael Venus, Marcelo Arevalo, Mate Pavic.
@@official_rowni’ll be the one responsible for that!
Shang will go on to do big things, once he calibrates his reaction timings.
"calibrates his reaction timings"??
@@potzysk2 he often freezes up mid return, and is not able to predict which way the ball is going to go and is able to hit the ball mostly due to his technical ability. It is obvious from seeing the highlights.
Wonder if Kecmanovic could have called an interference because of the loudspeaker distraction. LOL. Is that common with the tournaments blasting these messages like that?

Great wins to Harris and Aussie Max Purcell.
I think TennisTV would engender more enthusiasm for and engagement with the game if they would give the players’ first names as well. I don’t know who “Harris” is, and, having watched your video, I still don’t.
Yeah I thought it was Lloyd from South Africa. No idea

Harris with the depth hack, every ball on the baseline :O
Excellent highlights as usual!!! Unlike ROLLAND GARROS
😂 the highlights are still 3 minutes per match or shorter. YOU JUST LOVE TO COMPLAIN
@@AinSoph73 you're way off on this one buddy. There's no comparison between these highlights and the garbage RG was putting out. It's not just the length - which by the way is way longer than 3 minutes for individual one-on-one matches but the content/quality of the footage. If you were a fan of tennis, I'd not need to explain this to you. As an example check out the Fritz vs. Shang match highlights which are ELEVEN MINUTES AND 38 SECONDS!
@@sohailhines I told you once already exactly what I think of you and your comment proves that you are exactly what I once called you.
@@AinSoph73 I honestly don't remember you or your previous comment. But I do maintain that these highlights are way better. It's not about ME. What do you have to say about the highlights. Why do you think that these are no better than the ones from RG? I mean can you debate a topic intelligently without resorting to personal attacks when you don't agree with someone?
@@sohailhines if you don't remember me or my previous comment then we have nothing to discuss. Talking to you is a waste of time.

5:53 bro think he calling ppl to the principal's office
Shang had chances to win in the second tiebreak. Tbf he had a 15-40 in the second and 2 bps in the first I believe
5:53 wtf happened here!?
Fritz 7-6 7-6 Shang
Harris 6-7 7-6 6-2 Cobolli
Purcell 6-3 7-6 Kecmanovic
Vukic 6-3 3-6 7-6 Nishioka
Posted one minute ago
shot depth by harris ridiculous
西岡おしかった
Nishioka as always salty when he loses ahah what a clown
He hits topspin defensive shots that do not penetrate.
Anyone would be salty after losing such a close match. No need to single out Nishioka
