I think that having family issues is canon because kuroo gets bad bed hair because he is trying to block out his parents yelling I think (correct me if I’m wrong)

Hi, well I actually have a word for what Kuroo went in this AU. It's called parentification. Parentification is the process of role reversal whereby a child is obliged to act as parent to their own parent or sibling. In extreme cases, the child is used to fill the void of the alienating parent's emotional life. It is a bad thing for that to happen to someone so you. Because it isn't right for a young child who's only purpose, at their age, is to play and make friends and have fun. To suddenly change and their purpose is to take care of siblings, make food, bathe them and more.
So it's sad that Kuroo had to go through this. And the bad thing is, that it takes a long time to leave. Most kids get taken out of the parents life, but it stays with them even after moving households. So if you make a second part, it could be where his friends are making have a teenager time instead of feeling like the adult that he has become because of his parents ignorance and neglect
