CSS isn't a programmig language though. Once you get into actual programming languages they can be harder to give an overview for in 5 minutes. Good luck explaning memory management in C in 5 minutes for example. I mean you could, but your audience would really have to have a solid underlyng CS or EEE knowledge first.
Great, clear-cut, no-BS video to help people understand what CSS mental models are like, mate. Please make one for programming languages in general so that entrants will have some idea on what to do with a blank slate! :D
BTW, I revisited our css material in collage, which was at least a hundred slides, and I learned more from this vid in 5 mins than their slides in days or weeks 😅
What's up with that 1m30s of blackness at the end, was so lonely I got scared. On a serious note, great video, nice recap for those already working with CSS. And man... Those animations in your video, absolutely top notch! Keep it up sire!
Thanks much!! These are so helpful, for every language/tool to get through interviews. Because, though when one may have worked on most of the things to decent extent, but it's still tough to remember/refresh all the main-points from different videos/blogs/piles-of-interview-questions/notes. These videos help greatly with a quick refresh, and an idea of all the main points visually. thx bud!
Woow, that was summarized very clearly. Around minute 3:30 maybe you meant to say vertical margins, instead of vertical padding, didn't you? Either way this video's been veery helpful to review the tools often used in CSS. Thanks a lot for the awesome content :D
This is really helpful for the pieces I'm missing in my understanding while teaching myself online. I would be totally fine watching a 7 or 10 minite video if it meant you slowed down your speaking a bit or left images up for slightly longer. Good basic explanations tho! Thanks, sometimes it hardest to find answers to the most simplest things!
I found a (rare) boilerplate for CSS on some teacher's site, and I think it's a fantastic way to learn, you read it and google what all of it means and then you change things one by one whilst also doing a free online course to help you understand it better.
Wow CSS in 5 minutes! Ok I’m starting to understand the difference between passive learning and actually working on project, well at least lessons at the moment. 👍🏽🙏🏼
Can you do a video similiar to this but as an overview of all the languages and things you must learn to be a full stack dev. I wanted to create a social platform (on mobile + web) and learned some light python but realized there is so much more languages and things I must learn. I dont know what I dont know and a good overview of how things fit together would be a great video.
I I am from India sir, I understand your website HTML course very well, please make a tutorial video of it please please sir, I would have been able to understand it completely by your explanation.
These "... in 5 Minutes" videos are so, so helpful for those of us who've been out of it a year or three, and need a refresher. Thank you!!!
Possibly the best CSS resource I've come across in 20 years. Really helped me get an overview of how it is all supposed to go together.
Only real subject matter experts have the ability to simplify explanations with such concise clarity. Thank you Aaron!
This is probably the best CSS video I've seen on TH-cam, straight to the point and educational thanks.
Should do this for every language! Very helpful!

Not every language can be taught in 5 minutes
@@iorekby isnt web developing just easier and pays more???
@voidzmhm Well yeah but there's more to web dev than CSS and HTML. You'll need JS as a minimum.
I'm not even 2 minutes into the video and I already know and understand everything, Appreciate people like you bro
Thanks so much!
The way you display the concept is insane man !!! Keep Rocking ...
💪

You are a rad, righteous dude.
I thought, "How can it be CSS in 5 minutes if the video is 8 minutes long??.......Oh, add a minute fifteen to the end with nothing. Got it, lol."
correct 1.25 playback speed - 1m15s = 5 minutes.
@@SuperFX nope 8,16÷1,25=6,528
This is so well done, thank you man!
Thanks Aaron, you nailed it, you can be a top teacher for web development.

Hey Aaron, you're video has over a minute of black screen and silence at the end; starting at 6:59; you may want to trim it off in the youtube editor.
