Thanks man, you're a good dude for putting in the time and effort to help others like this. I appreciate the help getting this song under my fingers :)
You got it! There were a lot of free tabs out there back in the day when I started and I can’t help but wonder if I wouldn’t have progressed without them. Trying to put some good stuff back into the universe I guess.
I get it. The free tabs are great! I started this ‘journey’ in the 80s. Music cost MONEY back then, and because I was in school band, I really thought tan or sheet music was the only ‘real’ way. I shoulda paid more attention to my ears back then.
@@trentporter5419 I'm sorry Bro. It looks like you're in A there, I don't know why I thought different. But anyway, I did work it out in D (C capo 2nd) and so I suppose that's an unexpected win for me. 🙂
And I know it makes sense to you, however, please put your pick-stroke arrows the other way in the future. Not that your way is wrong - it’s just that 98.675 percent of all tabs do it the ‘other’ way. It’s kind of like the way bluegrass music is usually written in cut-time, but it’s never annotated that way. Call it ‘convention,’ and you can get away with anything! 😂
Thanks! One of my favorite ‘Doc’ songs!

Awesome video dude.
I thought Doc did it in G shape. But after playing around with it in C shape, I get it.
@dodgermartin4895 I’m not sure what you mean. I’m playing (capo 2) a G, C, and D with the G being main chord.

@@dodgermartin4895 well I am playing in A by using the G, C, D shape capoed to the second fret. But hey-it never hurts to work it out in another key!
