Great work, Mike! Talking about weird-ass Golden Age covers, I finally finished my Silver Streak run last week with #2 and #5. It was a seriously loooong haul to complete, I started it back in 1989. (But I did pick-up two copies of #6 along the way.) Edit: Basil Wolverton, he was an epic Mad magazine artist. One of the best, crazy work.
Nice run! We had a very nice copy of issue #7 of Silver Streak in one of our videos from a few years back. And yes, Basil did some fairly esoteric stuff ranging from various pre-code covers, Mad and his more recent Plop! series from DC.
Patrick, I am sorry to hear about Daisy. I have always considered my pets my four legged children. We just love on them and give them the best life possible.
My PC from the past several years is made up almost entirely of the best books from these unboxing videos. There have been some impressive ones. Maybe some day we will go through them and do callbacks in a "highlights" style show.
Sorry to hear about Daisy mate , its never easy losing a pet, they are part of the family, comic book wise, some belters there and what a jump on that Spidey # 8, Mike I know you dont have the time to do it but it would be great to see these books before you perform what can only be black magical evil deeds in a pact with the devil on them, take care guys.
@captain_uk - That's a good idea. I have a one hour conservation presentation that I offer which has 23 different types of defects that can be addressed. I have before & after photos for each type with lots of examples. I'll have to dig through my photo archive and match up the photos with some of future unboxings.
Neal Adams was so good❤❤❤
Hell Yeah!!!!😂😂😂😂

Always great to see you Red Ass transformers....So Sorry about Daisy, Patrick 😞
I'm so sorry over Daisy. That is always hard. Been through it recently with Miss Delia. Not even a year old.
Really rough. Although she was 15 always thought she’d be with us longer.

Back from the depths
Some awesome grade bumps in this submission. Love how it's like, oh that could be a PC book...
Yep, Mike has high standards for his PC. It is extra hard because of the scarcity of the comics he collects.

Sub Mariner #1 in 9.8 comes to mind
Hi guys! So many wins! Kudos! My condolences for Daisy, that is always hard to lose a furry family loved one.
Thank you, she was special.
Well, there's an hour I'll never get back! HaHa, Some serious grade bumps. The ASM #8 caught me eye until it turned into a 9.0, wow!
And you can loose another, the final unboxing from that night is up now!

Ha! He does have a secret lair.
