HEY RAYA! There are wooden reusable advent calendars that could be personalized for each family member. You and Louis could fill each other's calendars with fancy candy, trinkets, event tickets, love notes, jewelry, etc and Neo's could have candy, games, puzzles, stickers, etc. Great family tradition to start next year! You guys are so creative it would be so much fun to see what you have come up with.

Definitely one gift at a time: I used to write a poem with every gift: the recipient then tried to guess what the gift was, based on the poem: then it would be opened. My grandchildren say that's the best part of the opening of the gifts.

I have only got as far as bath mat saga and choked on my tea. My son in law did same thing with bathmat and washing machine. I so wish the pair of them said at time. We would not have got a frantic call from them with flooded kitchen and machine beyond repair 🤦♀️ New machine installed, kitchen cleaned and life lesson learnt and a story for years to come

We have always opened gifts one at a time for exactly that reason.
I’m a teacher and whenever it is a school break or a break is approaching my body tends to run a fever. Your body knows when you need a break
Raw garlic if can. Keep ginger in freezer and pureed organic spinach on hand to add to everything...
Maybe try some eucalyptus spray for breathing and an Epson salt bath soak. It might help you feel better.
