- Honestly, this is probably one of the builds I'm going to be messing with going forward. The stealth gameplay with crossbow and throwing knife is really fun.

I saw a post on Reddit about how the knife isn’t stealthy and they showed a vid of them throwing a knife at the last basic bot (in a marching group of 3) and it alarmed the first 2 bots. OFC it’s gonna alarm them! I don’t want lame ass mechanics where they won’t notice or hear their buddy get dropped from inches away.
Yeah I'm gonna start using crossbow to try to play a bit stealthier while still being able to handle clearing outposts. Probably pair it with the AMR though because of gunship patrols and Hulks. Still need a way to handle them.

4:26 quick question. Why not just precision strike the research station and scoot outta there without messing with the hellbomb?
Does it count as stealth if no reinforcements are directly called?

They made some decent changes, but it honestly feels months too late... Elden Ring DLC is in a few days and I'm excited to be playing that. Having a lot of fun on my Str/Faith playthrough.
You know p strike can take out rogue station, jammers, and Sauron eyes.
Wait, how do you have 8 throwables? I thought the armor passive gives +2 max throwables?

and how long did you practice with the knife to find a consistent aim point I'm really curious
Took a few hours to get the hang of it, but I still mess up all the time. Tbh, the stun grenade is way more useful, this is just something that looks cool. They screwed up so bad on the crosshair that it's almost not worth using until they fix it.
@@Not_Harvard if you take a look at my channel I made a video about the point of aim with the dot. But what really confuses me is there's a moment in your video at around the 18 minute mark where your dot is barely above a devastors head height wise yet its a perfect headshot. That looks like 20 meters or so, but in my tests at 20 meters I'm aiming way above the point of impact. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this
@@tetchedink7980 I'm not sure tbh. I just aim based on feel bc the crosshair is so bad. I think at that distance though you don't need to go much higher than where you're aiming.
@@Not_Harvard 18:33 you make a throw that has me loosing my mind. so I've been testing against walls aiming for specific points to use as a reference point as where to aim to make it hit. when you make this killing throw that devastor looks what 20-25 meters away? your aim dot is slightly higher than its head on point on its left shoulder. and you get a fairly clean headshot with very little drop. try throw a knife at a specific point on a wall one of those prefab buildings at the same distance and tell me if you see a huge difference in the drop. I'm genuinely wondering if there's a hidden 'lock on' feature when if your aiming at a enemy it tries to fly to them. id be hugely appreciative if you could give this a go in your own time and tell me what you think. I'm testing these out too and finding more inconsistencies than regularities.
Feel like the knives should replace the pistol, and then you could run smoke grenades or something. Plus then you could melee with the knife
Yeah I think that would have been better. I also think they should have at least played with them once before release because that crosshair is treasonous.

@@WingsaberE3 You can throw them further but the crosshair is still off.
@@Not_Harvard damn that’s rough. I tried the knives for a bit then switched back to the stun grenade. Still my favorite.
@@WingsaberE3 Same. Knives look cool, but the bots are insanely tough to solo rn so the stun is way better.

Only watched up to the 8 min mark but I wouldn’t characterize that as stealth. Saw like 3 stealth kills. Though to be fair the soft aggro in this game makes proper stealth impossible
