I prefer the final one, and not only for graphics, but also for several mechanics that surpass the original Vice City by far, maybe this one It's chosen for nostalgia, but the nostalgia factor isn't something that counts when you're going to give an opinion on why the original would be better than its remake/remaster. It's like the fans of the Re4 remake in which others said that the original was better because of the nostalgia nonsense and because of its "controls" that were very, very uncomfortable.
Man, the wii version of resident evil 4 is perfect. I absolutely did NOT like resident evil 4 on GameCube or ps2. I thought it was trash. But on wii I loved it so much I beat it 4 Times! Seriously, the wii controls for aiming in that game were perfect. Every console should have been smart and adapted that mechanism. Dumb developers.
@@Brian-ti7xm I was talking about the original one. Not the port for the wii. But you're right. It should be better. Something like using the dualsense or the six axis or something else.
In my opinion, the Definitive Trilogy is looking better than ever with the updates and improvements it's been receiving. The original is good for nostalgia, but I'm more in love with the Definitive Trilogy.
I must say Vice City took the least advantage from the remaster work. San Andreas is fine, 3 is probably the best one. It's obviously the one that was more in need

Honestly, if vice city just originally had the same controls and vehicle operations as gta san andreas but kept all its animations, same for 3, Id be rating those games as nearly perfect today and never had sold them. Especially if they would have kept their plans for adding 1st person option across all 3 titles as originally planned! I mean, that WAS the original plan, from the development team. But they thought their audience was too unintelligent to handle it. Thats why they went with extremely arcadey driving, and auto aim. Thats the same reason Playstation 2 was the ONLY console of its generation to lack triggers, thought their audience was too unintelligent. Dreamcast, xbox, GameCube... all had triggers. Ps2 didnt. Sad. Very sad.
That’s not the original vice city though that’s the pc version so it doesn’t have the “classic lighting” that the ps2 and ps2 emulations of vice city have, the water on pc looking like dog shit for example having that pale blue color but the ps2 and the new definitive edition both have a subtle green added looking more like rl or the gta6 trailer

I miss the newspapers and leaves floating around on the street. Those little details from the original

The scene at minute 6:50 in gta san andreas definition is not so realistic, it's almost like the original, here you should do a remaster

Same.
Stunning and brave.
