They went from 5% up to 7.5% 😂
+2% in advisory shares! Whatever that means 😅
@@UnlimitedRange I believe it just means that the shareholders is bought by advisors and usually doesn’t allow voting rights or other perks of regular shareholders
@@UnlimitedRangeso rather than increasing the shareholder percentage, they gave them different form of shares that isn’t added or collective to the regular shares
So generous!!!
Seventy-five dollars a month for a subscription of milk? Even if I was rich, I would not purchase this product.
I aint drank milk since i was weened
This isn’t milk, it’s nut juice. Only manlets and soy boys don’t drink real milk with every meal
@@BeardedRealm Was it tasty than?
@@mjlives5428 nope
You can see this kind of product on taobao and China market and it could be very cheap, surprised it is a new thing in U.S and so expensive.
Crazy valuation and delusional founders. A 2 for 1 Shark Tank special.
I literally just said aloud before reading the comments:
"Every house in America well she was fine till she went delusional".
So it's a small blender? They weren't there for a deal.
Not only is it just a blender but notice how no one said it was good. They just said "it tastes clean, pure" "theres no sugar you only taste the nuts". Ya I bet without any sugar it tastes awful. Drinking pure blended nuts might be healthy but it also tastes 'healthy' lol. Even cow milk has sugar in it....
Twas dumb
They were too greedy and left without a deal and for a product that has no patent protection internationally. They would be knocked off quickly. There would be the exact product made in China in leading US stores selling for US$50 within 3 months. To sell this product for US$169 and enjoy 73% margins won’t last long. The Chinese watch this show don’t ever forget that.
@@GreenDudeHCwrong daymond said it was good
Well that’s exactly what they come for. A deal.
Think Daniel wanted 30% 😅
500,000 for 5%? Those guys are nuts!
😂😂😂
At this point, all the judges should have just said, great commercial, I mean pitch, but we know you are not here to make a deal. Goodbye.
@@HiddenAgendas People always cry when Damon says that but its true. You can tell some companies come on there just for the advertising while giving up peanuts!
with 2 million sales nd 6 million arr not really.
I considered purchasing until I heard about the MONTHLY cost of $40-80 for the fillers. Almond milk is very pricey at $3 per half gallon, but I am not paying more than 6x that amount to make it myself. 😅 Good luck to them though. I hope they are able to reduce the price point.
Im pretty sure its optional. Its their subscription add-on. You can buy the machine on its own, and then get the stuff to make the flavoured milks and maybe the nuts themselves from them? Im not 100% sure, but I think thats the case.
Just buy nuts from your own source. There is nothing proprietary about this.
$3 per half gallon is cheap. I pay $4.50 for regular organic milk because I don't like the taste of the non organic.
This could easily go the way of juicero. Plus too much work and expense : you have to remember to stock up on cashews/almonds etc which is very expensive and you have to clean up machine etc vs just buying ready made oat/almond/cashew milk with no hassles (and it probably even works out cheaper to just buy off the shelf). And on top of all that you can already make these with just a blender instead of adding yet another gadget you will hardly use to your kitchen counter. I can see why the sharks quickly passed.
True
You summed it up perfectly.
So you're saying you would have to be nuts to invest ?
I h people don’t care they will still buy it they like extra gadgets to use to be more healthy
Mark already invested in a way better company that will be a brand name in all homes. This was a blender and that was it.
And those NuMilk guys sounded like way better entrepreneurs too. This couple’s pitch is quite uninspiring.
US$169 for a simple blender, imagine.😂
@@mandlas.4305regular household good blenders go for that price wym
No way, Nu Milk uses proprietary parts and requires the pouch subscription. I went with Almond Cow because it’s quieter than the Nuttr but both are better than Nu Milk, and far more convenient than a Vitamix because they filter the nuts automatically. The design of the metal filters is the key.
How is this different than a good mixer grinder 😅
Presumably it filters out the pulp for you.
The filter
It's more "Nutty"...
See what i did there..
Try grinding nuts in mixer and you will find out.
@ramsesp5009 ughh I didn't wanna give you a like bit you got it lol
She tried to butter up with Daniel and got shot down 😂
I’ve been admiring you, checks notes, Daniel for years
Lol, exactly. Ugg it was so apparent.@@javierclement3047
Right she was so fake cause if she did admire him like she said she did, she would a been trying to make a deal with him right off the bat
You can tell who wears the pants in that house!!!! He was dead silent!!!!😂😂😂
Lol
I said same thing to myself
It looks like they were both wearing pants to me
A blender with a subscription package? Sounds like juicero to me. Also insane how you then end up paying MORE for plant-based milk, even though you make it yourself. That would have been the only selling point for me.
Edit: on their website they claim you will save on your monthly grocery bill. HOW?
No, too expensive. It seems to work like an expensive blender. She lives in another world, plus the monthly subscription on the flavors is too high. They spent how much on advertising??????
The advertising bit is actually the least controversial. Advertising budgets tend to be very, very high. It's not unusual to see an advertisement budget reaching almost 50% of a company's entire budget.
Exactly. It would be knocked off in China and imported in the US and sold on US leading stores for US$50. Watch this space.
@@SylversVolpe I can't see a company feasible with 50% of the budget spent on advertising
Spent 1.3 in marketing to sell 700k. Ain’t mathing right.
"Every single household in america is going to pay $75/mo for milk" lmao
"500k for 5% is too low, try again"
"Ok, we will do 500k for 5.5%, you are sure getting a good bargain here."
"Hey, I gotta get it framed."
Looking at Amazon reviews I think Nutr has a quality control problem. After a few months they just quit.
They went out of business? That's nuts
@@moogleking I could be wrong. Their website is still running and the company's supposed to be worth $10million, but you can't get any product - they're sold out on their website and Amazon with many copycats available at half their price.
Good. They sucked
1:08 "WoUAOh wHaT tHe FreNcH toAssT!?"
I was looking for this comment 😂😂
" Were gonna be in every household and every coffee chain " 🤣 shore you will !!!!
*we're, *sure
You can see this kind of product on taobao and China market and it is cheaper and better, it blend mix and cook and you can set timer. I am surprised it is a new thing in U.S and so expensive.
I think the original vision of shark tank has been lost. They barely get actual startups anymore, it’s all companies who already have millions in sales.
I think it's down to the fact that the sharks put up their own money and a function of what they've found out works over the years. Since they put real money down they've become more risk averse over the years and less willing to throw money on something that doesn't look a semi-sure bet with proven sales. I agree, a show where investors make bets on an unproven idea would probably be more fun to watch, if anything just to see which ones they got right.
@@tyrellcobb4665 Back when the show started the asks were way lower too. If a startup entrepreneur asked for $50,000 and it didn't work out, that's the equivalent of Mark losing a $5 bill.
In the business world a start up can be a business with less than a 100 employees or less than 50 million in revenue. In the early seasons the amateurish quality of companies was a big problem so they improved the quality of submissions. Unfortunately the sharks try to have it both ways.
Because the sharks won't back up people without crazy sales. But if you have crazy sales why do you need a shark. 😊
I personally don't want to watch them making $25,000 or 50,000 deals for 20% of a company. At that point it's just such pennies to them that it feels exploitative
I'd much rather eat the nuts.
@7:04 “Every household in America” 😂
Like we don't have enough appliances already😅
They didnt come for a deal.
I agree that’s the case because their ask was too high
Why can’t you just use a blender
You can, but then you have to filter out all the pulp yourself which is a huge pain. This essentially just saves time/effort.
Never understand why these entrepreneurs come in and try to charge the sharks a premium
They just want the advertisement. But either way, you can't invest with someone who is delusional like this because even if they accept something realistic later, they will resent you for not paying their crazy price and mess up the transaction. Just send these people out.
If you are going to be in every home....don't know why you need a 🦈
The moment they started their demonstration, I Mark would be out because of Numilk. I was following that company before to see if they'll really deliver on the tabletop milk maker and it turns out they did. Those look better compared to this. Plus the two guys making the pitch were easy to negotiate with.
$169 for a tiny blender? TF! You know they have small cheaply made blenders for way less? Ain't nobody paying that much for that tiny azz blender.
I use a blender and cheesecloth.
I've been eyeing this machine and contemplating getting it or the almond cow
Well be careful - read the reviews on this- according to another commenter, they're not doing well with quality control and don't sell it on Amazon anymore or something. I haven't looked it up.
Mark always makes that face when trying something 😅
What a couple of scammers. They've made a blender and renamed it.
Doubt they even made the blender.
@@AdamBechtol Yup. Drop-shipped from China

i think this pitch was terrible lol. didnt like the way she spoke or gave the information about her company bruh like why u so dry
Same. She seemed barred out
Oof, that's a ripoff. People in China who are on a diet get these machines for like $15 and you make it yourself, no propriety blends you have to buy.
If only there weren’t a million online tutorials on how to make plant milk in your normal blender
The guy looked at her with question mark when she said they are gonna be in every coffee shops and retail shops in america🤣 why buy it when can get such a product for cheap from China?😅it's just a blender
It won’t be in every house in America for the simple fact that there are people with something called nut allergies. And then there are also people with seed allergies. And sometimes people even have both! So, it might become popular, but it won’t be in “every home in America.”
Takeaway: The future is opinion but the present is fact, you gotta base your valuation primarily on what you got in the present for it to be reasonable.
Just go buy a fruit ninja for half the price and go to town. Wait, most people have that already and havent even took it out the box yet to even use it lol.
I invested 0% in this company but I just got a call from Barbara and she told me she’s out.
I would feel like I just got Nutr'd (Neutered) if I had to pay 80$ a month + cost of organic nuts + cost of the machine, just to make home made nut milk. What a greedy couple
I could do the same thing with a nutribullet… I’m out 😂
Glad I'm not the only one who thought this was yet another Juicero scam
A subscription?
And why can't I throw nuts and water in a blender?
Still trying to figure out what "clam-based milk" is?
I swear she said that 10 times.
So water + nuts + blender = milk?
Nutr lol. 😂
7.5% plus 2% advisors shares lmao
I KNEW they were going to say 7%
I have an idea that's worth 55 bazillion dollars but today its only made $5. I'm asking for $100,000,000 for .01% of my company.
NuMilk? I got a blendjet that can do that too..
Good luck!
It looks like I'm here the only childish one that chuckled at the name "nutr"
I honestly thought there would be a sift to make it creamier but no it’s a blender with a timer but i still like it :)
I like the product but I know I'll use it like 2 times and never touch it again.
Wouldn't buy this crap. Basically a blender.
It makes liquid nuts. NOT milk.
Plant based milk.
@@loveistheanswer5924 “milk” is from something with a heart.
@@taxpayer6079 That is a bit petty for me. 🤷♂️🙂
It should imitate milk that is why they call it milk. But not original milk but PLANT based milk. 🙂
It's more healthy then the normal one.
TBH whenever I hear 500 thousand for 5 percent i usually skip the episode . Those people are there for exposure
Who would really buy something called “the nutter”? Aside from the obvious innuendo of the name, who wants milk that tastes exactly like cashews?
She’s delusional 😂😂😂😂
That's a Chinese soy milk machine like they have m already on their market for decades. It just blends and boils anything you throw in it.
I’m tired of all these delusional entrepreneurs. They have all this debt and they raise the valuation instead of lowering. Plus they lied about bootstrapping. Can’t they choose better entrepreneurs anymore?
pssssss- what about doing walnut milk? thats something new
What The French Toast? Shout-out to Kevin Samuels
I don't get it , what's the difference between this and a blender
This is different for the Sharks , normally when the contestant says I can give 5 percent, they would counter with "I want 20 percent" or something when they change their modus operandi?
Suprising, the sharks could have went for a lucrative royalty deal like 15 dollars for 1 unit until they get back 1.5 mil and went for 7.5 + 2.5 equity, could have been easy money made
Got a long way to go with those goals at the end..Can't ask for half a million with debt and all the other stuff going on for 5% and then 7.5+2% and expect them to invest..it's an impossible ask to invest in for people that want to make money..I really don't understand how people have these numbers and asks and just valuing their company from such a biased perspective..
What did he have in his mind?
WHAT DID HE HAVE IN HIS MIND??
lol my girl calls me a Nuttr
Not at that price per month 😂
Who in their right mind pays almost 80 a month for friggin milk. Just buy the damn cow at that point
I’m an ENTREPRENEUR!!!!🎉🎉🎉
5 to 7.5% what is up with these people lately thinking their 1mil in debt business is worth that much
At first, couldn't figure out what a Plan based milk could possible be? What is the Plan?
It's way more healthy then normal milk. 🙂🤗🥛🌰
Gosh she didn’t give the poor guy a chance to speak 😮
I’m sorry but does any1 else just mainly focus on marks finger ? 😂 I’m sorry I love him but I can’t stop thinking and looking at it 😫 lol
They are delusional, they should have offered 20-25%
True delusion at the end. Niche at best - no WAY you'll reach a billion.
$500,000 of their money put into this and $1million in debt… this just goes to show that you can’t just pour money on a product to make it work…
That girl looks like she wears the pants in the relationship. Idk why I get that vibe. Haha
Because she does
how is this different than any blender?
It's a freaking blender lol
NUT MILK IS NOT MILK
Or just by the magic bullet
Expensive cost for a blender.
Not in every household, because I don’t drink that crap
The appeal to an investor is to buy something at today's value then, with luck, blow it up so it's worth more. Trying to charge them for what it would be worth later, IF all goes right, removes all incentive and is delusional and narcissistic on top of it. I agree with the Sharks on this one, ridiculous valuation, get lost.
I had a chance to invest in this company and passed. I had a question and she never responded. Revenue wise she is doing pretty well now. Don't know if she is making a profit or not obviously. Wish i would have invested now.
