I tried the A.I. opponent just the other day on Med difficulty. I appreciate the way the system keeps it competitive by allowing good & bad shots, but I'm more impressed by how well the A.I. spins the ball.
Love this comment! Haha Yep the spin is a joke. He got backspin from a bump and run when I played. That’s my biggest issue with e6 is the unrealistic characteristics on the greens. I get 2,3,4ft of backspin on e6 and never do this in real life.
I noticed you have that "pure" amazon matt there, I was thinking about getting the "well putt" matt, do you think it's worth the money or would the "pure" matt you have would be sufficient? thanks
I think the Pure Amazon mat is very good for the money. I’m happy with it and personally wouldn’t bother spending the extra. Maybe if I practiced putting I would be tempted to go for Well Putt as assuming it’s more realistic to a green. But I literally only putt when playing Sim golf.
Putting seemed way off in terms of speed - you were hitting it pretty hard. Did you use a ball with a dot because that is definitely not good for putting? I get very different putt reads depending on where I place the ball (whether I go left or right of my hitting mat). Setup is everything with putting on the mevo plus.
Yep didn’t bother changing the ball. I usually use a ball without a dot. Putting is generally ok for me. Sometimes get a bit of a bumpy roll due to the floor but good enough.

Looking to set up my own golf sim in a couple of months. Thinking of getting the mevo+ and wondered which iPad and projector you’d recommend? Do you need an internet connection or can you just download the E6 courses to your iPad and play offline?
Hi Dean, sounds great! I love the mevo+ and if you have the space i would go for it. Any fairly newish ipad will work, I use a pretty old iPad Pro but works fine. I usually play offline as have no internet in my garage. I sometimes tether my phone but don’t need to. Just need to go online every now and then to validate the license. You can download the courses on the iPad and play offline. I have the Epson TW-650 which is pretty good. Just work out where your projector will be mounted and what size image you need as they all have different throw ratios. So depends how far back then will be to what image it produces. They are all different. Projectorcentral.com is very helpful. Any questions let me know always happy to help if I can
