Shameel asad I’m curious as to popular colors of sari’s/wedding dresses in Asia (sorry if I misspelled that). I know red is very traditional but do certain colors come in and out of style? Do you have more than one dress? Are they cheaper or more expensive than these dresses? Just curious
@@seeyouinhell8961 yes actually,they do but not every bride wears a sari , some wear "lehngas" or even "Shadi jorai". It's really not set in stone. They can wear any color or style if it matches the rest of their surroundings.
But it is an interesting colour in Britain also white didn’t become the norm until queen victoria wore it at her wedding but even before red was fairly rare because it was seen as a Catholic symbol of martydom it’s not as British people always wore white or boring colours blue dresses were common because it represented the Christian Virgin Mary.

Kristine Day most weddings I’ve attended had white dresses but my sister was a brave one and had little bits of colour all over her white dress which was probably one of the coolest gowns I’ve ever seen so yeah there are some adventurous brides in SA

I can't envision a veil with that gown. White wouldn't look right, and certainly, red would look weird. Maybe she settled for flowers or some other hair accessory .

I mean colored wedding dresses is actually the original way they were worn up until 1840. They style shifted when Queen Victoria decided to get married in all an all white dress (which was almost unheard of back then.) and white wedding dresses then became the norm.
