    Oh Man i really really like your Work. I'm more impressed on every Video. But a fiew small thoughts about the Lights or how i do these. At first i paint all Light Buckets silver on the inside. The Light and Look is so much better. Second i cut the Led Heads flat so they shine in a wider Angle. And last but not least. I use a lot of shrink Tube to bring the Cabels together in visable corners. So they stay together and organized and they are all black at the same Time. My last Build is a custom Man TGA 4x4 with a long Wheel Base and a Flat Bed like a Tow Truck. Keep doing your wonderfull Work on here. I like to watch every Video. Greetings from Germany

    Merry Christmas Bob & Winston, yeah find that Tamiya never leave enough room for fitting of lights around tight corners or crevices. great to see part 2 of this build, can't wait to see what it looks like when it is finished.

    Great progress on the build. There was a ton of tips and helpful techniques packed into this single video. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
    I agree completely with testing those lights before buttoning it up, loads easier to fix right then.
    Looking forward to the next installment on this project.
    Happy New Year!

      I have used that FH 16 to make a heavy transport tractor. Shorten the chassis a bit and put a Fury Bear semi 5 + 2 axle extender behind it. Pulling 127 kilo,s. Great model that Fh - 16

    Hi Bob, fantastic vid and model. For us that might try something similar would you be able to draw/show a diagramme of how the wire s connect throughout the model, front to back etc and then at the controller. They us nothing like seeing a old fashioned line drawing, thanks

    awesome video cant wait to see the rest of the build. this question is for anyone. i have the Mercedes 3363 and i want to be able to install the dash, seat and driver with the MFC, has anyone been able to accomplish that and can provide suggestions?

    • @krob2de
      @krob2de ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there. Yes I did that. You can mount the MFC upright behind the seats and cover it with plastic or black cardboard. Works on some of the new Tamiya trucks. At least I did so on MB 3363 and Arocs Tipper. And I think Bob did that as well in one of his older Videos.

    • @krob2de
      @krob2de ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Basically you do the same as Bob in this Video with the Beier SFR

    I noticed when your testing your lights you only had to hook up one wire for each test so did you join all the negatives together and just have an independent positive for each light circuit to hook up?

    • @HobbyconceptsLLC
      @HobbyconceptsLLC  ปีที่แล้ว

      That is exactly what I did. Only with Beier the common wire is the positive so all those are hooked together.

    What size leds did you use and how many of each and what size resistors where used?

    • @HobbyconceptsLLC
      @HobbyconceptsLLC  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Lots of 3mm led's. I use led's that have a resistor already soldered in. Generally about 470 1/2 watt.

    Hi, just wondered as to what happened to your older videos? Lots of links I had saved for information are now no longer in existence (how to set up and modify the Flysky FS-i6x for instance)

    • @HobbyconceptsLLC
      @HobbyconceptsLLC  ปีที่แล้ว

      All my videos are still there. Youmay have some bad links. Best to go to my home page and click videos. Here is the FS-i6x video: th-cam.com/video/lDLtVaIE5ic/w-d-xo.html

      @@HobbyconceptsLLC hi and thanks, I was looking for the video on the spring mod for the FS-i6x. I got the controller around the time you posed the video but only just got a sandscorcher (40yrs I've wanted it!) I was having issues with the ch1 and 2 sticks not being correct (were not swapping in the mode switching, I found how to enter the factory mode and reset the sticks in the end) You tube no longer let us scroll down through all the videos it would seem, only the option for recently uploaded of popular. I was able to find the centre spring video but had to search for flysky rather than just scroll down the videos as it doesn't show up. I had tried clicking a link to it in one of your other videos but that said it no longer existed. Got there in the end. Thanks!
