I agree with some of your after comments. Adele’s voice is smoother, steadier, firmer. Angelina has, as some have called it, an incredible vocal ‘fry’, more than Adele. Angelina may gain the firmness with age. There’s vocal musical talent and then there’s mental musical talent. Both obviously have both kinds of talent, but Angelina is still developing on both fronts, as is Adele of course, but one assumes Adele is pretty fully formed. If Angelina keeps developing she will be even more unbelievable than she is now. I hope all goes wonderfully well for Angelina as she grows, and of course for Adele also. Fifty years ago, in the age of female singers working together, they would have been an unstoppable force together. This little girl kept me hypnotized with happy tears for weeks to believe my eyes, ears, and soul. Even when she was seven years old, she sounded like a 40-year-old chain-smoking woman who lived a horrible life. AJ sings the heaviest of tunes creatively, like a jazz artist. Her miraculously early development makes you believe she lived everything she sings. Children’s vocal cords are short and limited, and you can never teach feeling and personal style. This is Devine inspiration, my friend-the best of the best I ever heard or saw.

On one hand, a self-taught child at home with a run-of-the-mill microphone; on the other, a seasoned woman in a studio with the most sophisticated equipment and sound engineers (although the video was shot in a house). Angelina is known for listening to a song once and know the tune and lyrics almost preternaturally, and not need numerous takes to get the sound right as she wants. Angelina seems to interpret the emotional intensity of the song's - without having had life experiences that a woman would have had.
First of all Thank you for putting them both together in the same beautiful song! I think they're both so amazing it's just that each one has her own distinct signature style. Angelina is so young and talented the future is hers but Adele's voice is so sweet we can not deny it! They both great yes.
It really is about taste and connection. When Adele first came on the scene, she was a fave. I liked her better than most out there. Then Angelina became a part of my life and she easily surpassed/replaced Adele as having a voice that not only was exceptional, but also connected emotionally to me in a way no other voice had. There were past strong contenders but none got to me as did Angelina's. I still will stop and listen to an Adele song but I'd rather be listening to Angelina. Not saying one is better; just saying I like one better. They do different things and I like what Angelina's voice does as she shares her magical musical world.
Adding to my earlier comment, I discovered Angelina Jordan just tonight. I listened to many of the songs and was jolted! It felt like the spirit, or the essence of both Elvis Presley (Can’t Help Falling in Love) and Patsy Cline (Crazy) were in her voice. I know it sounds crazy because one male and female voice, but I’ve never experienced that before. She is phenomenal!
Many of us and some TH-cam reactors have noticed the passion and emotion that Angelina can evoke in ourselves and listeners. Thanks Chris, great job :) Adele is one of the greatest singer/songwriters of the last years, no doubt about it. But if we are to compare her voice with Angelina's, for me it will always be Angelina's first 100%. Adele's voice is nasal, too clear, too direct, if you know what I mean. Angelina's is full of textures, nuances, inflections that give any song a different dimension. Plus the great emotional connection Angelina show with each song and her audience ;)
I don't like her new look. The long dark hair and barefoot are already Angelina's trademark which I think she should stick to ...Think Annie Lennox who was in a league on her own - never changed her basic style of dressing and singing until today. It was really close. They are both excellent artists. But yeah, I have to agree, Angelina's voice is fuller and richer. But beyond that, she brings so much more emotion to it. Comparatively, Adele is singing the words and notes, Angelina is singing the message. IMO
I completely disagree. Angelina is just a baby. She has no idea what she's talking about it. You can feel the lack of depth, especially in her false pauses. She's an amazing mimic and hopefully one day she'll gain the maturity to add true dimension to her singing. Not saying that she isn't amazing, but there is really no comparison to Adele.

That is in no way a criticism, because it simply could not be any other way. If I were to compare someone to Billie, it would be Madeleine Peyroux, an adult singer. AJ is undoubtedly hugely talented, a terrific singer, but personally I am not a great fan of giving children material that is so beyond their comprehension and experience. It just never rings true, however impressive the vocals may be. (An extreme example is a 7-year-old singing "Je suis malade" by Lara Fabian).
They are 2 fantastic singers who are belong to the top 10 in the world. They are Unique! Each with their own sound and unique singing voice! They are also authentic with their voice. I love them so much and I am a big fan of both beautiful fantastic singers. It seems that Jordan has an old soul in her voice, because her sound is really super unique and authentic. Here in the Netherlands we also have a top 10 of great and fantastic singers. Glennis Grace and Davina Michelle are 2 from. We also have great singers here in the Netherlands. My favorite singers are Waylon and The lead singer Marcel Veenendaal of the band Direct. Especially the song Soldier on by Marcel van Direct. Really goosebumps! So beautiful and a special voice. Fifty years ago, in the age of female singers working together, they would have been an unstoppable force together. Now they are both the top of the musical food chain, but the young lady has YEARS left and a multiple of ranges she will cross, she will be remembered for generations. Her ability to cross musical boundaries, classic, pop, rock, itain etc, she will take the world by storm soon!

Amazing. On one hand, a self-taught child at home with a run-of-the-mill microphone; on the other, a seasoned woman in a studio with the most sophisticated equipment and sound engineers (although the video was shot in a house). Angelina is known for listening to a song once and know the tune and lyrics almost preternaturally, and not need numerous takes to get the sound right as she wants. Angelina seems to interpret the emotional intensity of the song's - without having had life experiences that a woman would have had.
First of all Thank you for putting them both together in the same beautiful song! I think they're both so amazing it's just that each one has her own distinct signature style. Angelina is so young and talented the future is hers but Adele's voice is so sweet we can not deny it! They both great yes.

It really is about taste and connection. When Adele first came on the scene, she was a fave. I liked her better than most out there. Then Angelina became a part of my life and she easily surpassed/replaced Adele as having a voice that not only was exceptional, but also connected emotionally to me in a way no other voice had. There were past strong contenders but none got to me as did Angelina's. I still will stop and listen to an Adele song but I'd rather be listening to Angelina. Not saying one is better; just saying I like one better. They do different things and I like what Angelina's voice does as she shares her magical musical world.

Adding to my earlier comment, I discovered Angelina Jordan just tonight. I listened to many of the songs and was jolted! It felt like the spirit, or the essence of both Elvis Presley (Can’t Help Falling in Love) and Patsy Cline (Crazy) were in her voice. I know it sounds crazy because one male and female voice, but I’ve never experienced that before. She is phenomenal!
Many of us and some TH-cam reactors have noticed the passion and emotion that Angelina can evoke in ourselves and listeners. Angelina's rich, warm and full sound combined with many vocal styles and techniques reach in, capture and pull to the surface, emotions and past experiences of mine and others like few before her. And she is only 14. Her knowledge and ability to re-imagine existing songs is far beyond her years and any amount of training. It is a gift and she is only getting started. Adele is one of the greatest singer/songwriters of the last years, no doubt about it. But if we are to compare her voice with Angelina's, for me it will always be Angelina's first 100%.
Adele's voice is nasal, too clear, too direct, if you know what I mean. Angelina's is full of textures, nuances, inflections that give any song a different dimension. Plus the great emotional connection Angelina show with each song and her audience ;)
I don't like her new look. The long dark hair and barefoot are already Angelina's trademark which I think she should stick to ...Think Annie Lennox who was in a league on her own - never changed her basic style of dressing and singing until today. They used to call it 'be true to yourrself' I look forward to following the career of Angelina! Magical.

It was really close. They are both excellent artists. But yeah, I have to agree, Angelina's voice is fuller and richer. But beyond that, she brings so much more emotion to it. Comparatively, Adele is singing the words and notes, Angelina is singing the message. IMO

I completely disagree. Angelina is just a baby. She has no idea what she's talking about it. You can feel the lack of depth, especially in her false pauses. She's an amazing mimic and hopefully one day she'll gain the maturity to add true dimension to her singing. Not saying that she isn't amazing, but there is really no comparison to Adele.

I have always loved Adele's voice and her songwriting. Angelina, on the other hand, affects me in an entirely different way. There is something about her tone that hits me physically. It isn't a competition but I know which one I prefer, if I had to choose. 😎

@@ridgemanron As a lifelong Billie Holiday fan I agree that AJ tries to sound like Billie, but on a deeper level she is light years away from the emotion that Billie conveys. That is in no way a criticism, because it simply could not be any other way. If I were to compare someone to Billie, it would be Madeleine Peyroux, an adult singer. AJ is undoubtedly hugely talented, a terrific singer, but personally I am not a great fan of giving children material that is so beyond their comprehension and experience. It just never rings true, however impressive the vocals may be. (An extreme example is a 7-year-old singing "Je suis malade" by Lara Fabian).
They are 2 fantastic singers who are belong to the top 10 in the world. They are Unique! Each with their own sound and unique singing voice! They are also authentic with their voice. I love them so much and I am a big fan of both beautiful fantastic singers. It seems that Jordan has an old soul in her voice, because her sound is really super unique and authentic. Here in the Netherlands we also have a top 10 of great and fantastic singers. Glennis Grace and Davina Michelle are 2 from. We also have great singers here in the Netherlands. My favorite singers are Waylon and The lead singer Marcel Veenendaal of the band Direct. Especially the song Soldier on by Marcel van Direct. Really goosebumps! So beautiful and a special voice. Adele is a good singer, but she does not possess the vocal artistry that Angelina does.

May sound a bit New Age, but Angelina simply understands a dimension or two more, and while having cutting edge vocal capacity, it's easy for her to add another layer of information coming from who knows where. She was just born like that, of course her excellent singing is a result of hard work and ultimate dedication as well. So, she is the angel(ina) who has the ability to show the depth of our souls. The rest are details, I think. And her song choices by itself are a great tribute to those who created them! And all respect to the original and other excellent singers, it's just we are evolving and trying to feel and understand more...
