I just came back to this video because I remembered watching it so much in excitement for my puppy to come home with us! Willow is 1 year old now and we love her very much. :)
@@llamalady Yes, but that crate was way too small. A dog should be able to stand up and turn without touching the roof/sides, or while barely touching them.
I got the same White Swiss Shepherd, we never cage him, he sleeps with us now, super king bed is not spacious for us anymore as my son and our pup also sleeps with us on the same bed. He thought that he is human, when bedtime he is the first to run to bed and tack himself comfortably using my husband's pillow, but of course he is always end up on the end side of the bed, the problem though i can not stretch my feet as my 30kg puppy lying there comfortably. They growl first before barking unlike our neighbour dog a labrador just bark loudly, this one when he growl then bark it's sounds scary.

It's called a crate, and dogs are naturally Denning animals, they like small spaces if they have a positive connection to them. It's their safe space

Checkout a Facebook group page called white Swiss Shepherds (USA) they have a list of FCI regulated breeders! Just a wary they are NOT cheap

I have a white swiss shepherd too and no the maintenance is not that high if you brush the dog everyday
