The pheasant couldn't be bothered less. I guess he saw you pitch a lot of tents. Nature and civilization/recreation can go together it seems. Very hopeful. This video was the best "how to" video so far. I haven't seen anybody else putting so much knowledge AND effort in a video. I'm very thankful and it helped me a lot. I'm definitely going to see more of your uploads. Greetings from Holland, Jan

Well presented, thank you. I bought a Vango Tempest 300 pro (2018 model) last year. Whilst researching, I couldn't find anything regarding actual setup. After 50+ years of camping experience, I obviously figured it out but for any one starting out, this is an excellent video, with good advice and possible errors explained. Well done!
I've always pegged out the ground sheet first. (I bought the footprint sheet for mine, to protect the main one) It's a shame the porch ground sheet is not part of the main sheet and sewn in. It would be one less thing to do and would offer more protection to stored gear in wet weather.
    Thanks again.

Brilliant video, thank you for sharing. Why can't all tent set up videos be this clear? Once again, thank you.

Thanks for the in depth video. I personally find this tent to be one of the most worst ones I've ever experienced (in terms of complexity putting it up). This was expecially true in the dark and rain! Nonetheless, an in depth video with great explanation. You're a legend!

Good video, thanks. The peg thing is such a myth it's become accepted as gospel. Loading principles dictate you decreased the resistance (of earth) against the peg by half. Peg should always be put straight down. The force is pulled from the top of the peg. Thanks for the video, picked up some useful tips. 👍

i have this tent. the tent pitching instructions are stitched inside the storage bag. they advise to "Always peg at an angle (ideally 45°) to obtain maximun grip in the ground"

Noticed the front fly has a huge gap between the grass and fly, surely in windy or rainy conditions that must be a fail? Will the short pole be able to be fitted after the tent is erected.
