Always good to watch Andy's pedal demos. I've been watching his demos for a long time. It's like he is a part of the family. That pedal is really nice, and great looking. Thanks for showing us Andy !!
You and I was very young at proguitarshop very early guitar demos.... uf lot of time see you with THE G&L Black Legacy....that guitar is one of the best sounding guitar ever, in my 52 amateur hobbist guitar nerd times...cheer fro Santiago, Chile!!!excuse my bad english please?............
Andy! I see that you went and did your research on Vini Reilly, as per my comment on your Boss RE-202 demo, where I wrote about how it sounded nothing like the real Roland RE-201 that you were playing through. Vini really was "the guy" on guitar who brought out all the weird and quirky qualities that are unique to the Roland RE-201 Space Echo. No pedal company has cracked that code yet. Universal Audio are close, but the way the repeats decay and disintegrate into a haze of distorted texture is still unique to the analog domain. Perhaps machine learning will one day be able to capture that lightning in a bottle to be dispensed at will? Vini could really use some help with his medical expenses, if you know of a way to shine the spotlight on him more directly.
Yeah ! I like this one ! And curiously, the moment at 7.2 minutes reminded me of an old one from Tone Report, the Elta Music Console, the moment at 5.25 minutes, Cathedral Shimmer. Which was and still is (kept it in my favorites !) so pleasing to hear AND play !
sounds great. not sure how I feel about the interface though. feel like they coulda done a much better job with it given the amount of space on the pedal.
That’s hard to sum up but this shares a lot of the same features, especially the dual DSP architecture. But the BigSky is reverb only remember. The H90 is more of a multi effects unit with two effects at a time. Depending on your needs, any of those 3 would be a great choice.
I love my strymon timeline sounds same with reveb in feedback loop But this , take to different places All in one mix Series & Parallel Control on effect. Rate XY- goodness . Now the cost . But you get lot for buck no extra add on if you 3 effects and mix box Just one box . Now what power it suck 500 ma or more special Requirements tip . . Got look up , hope it Straight 400 Ma standard tip ( strymon) 😊. This pedal I been looking for .
Gfi products always sound fantastic clean but whenever i add a decent amount of gain to their reverb or delays they always clip. Very nice unit though 🤘
Probably not an issue on this new platform but haven’t tried myself. I will say, amps tends to clip when combining dirt and long tails, especially vintage amps that weren’t designed for this amount.
It should be easy is it to not use that horrible typo in the display. you work on an amazing fx device, looking quite good and than choose for that 80-ies typo. I wonder how and why..
Vinny Reilly!!! WOW!!! Excellent! This pedal is truly remarkable.
Love that Durutti Column intro!
Thanks so much, first time playing anything from them!
Wow… this sets a high bar at an incredible price.
I never ever imagined a pedal review guy playing Durutti Column. Wonderful.
Thank you, I always try to not do the obvious tunes ✌️❤️

This is seriously powerful.
Some classic Vinnie licks! Greatest Manc guitarist ever. X
the Durutti Column was incredible!
Wooh gfi 🎉❤❤❤
I don't need another reverb. I don't need another reverb. I need another reverb...
Whatabout a new reverb, with a dual delay, or dual reverb? 😄
I want one too.
*and a looper
@@CorbCorbin Is it the new industry standard? The new shiz?
Its been in/out of my cart 5x already.
Durutti Column in the opening? am i right? That was unexpected
Yeah, caught that too, hardly ever hear VR...
Andy constantly amazes with his skills and knowledge.
What song?
@@brutallyremastered4255
What song off that album? The title track?

Thank you! I always try to give chords some space with these types of effects.
Amazing Yamaha guitar !! great demo as usual 👏
Proust wrote a thick tome about experimenting with time-based effects, didn't he?
Opening song, something by The Durruti Column?
Once, this kind of gear was to be found only in professional studios... Crazy!
Very nice as always. But what is that Yamaha?
Yeah i'd like to know as well
Click on more...all his equipment is listed...
wow. Opening with a Vini Reilly / The Durutti Column track?!!!!!!
I think this pedal is going to be a hit. $499 is actually not all that bad for something like that.
I agree, there’s really nothing in this class under $600👍
Yup! Cheaper than two USED Strymons!
Is this like a normal v9 connection to a power supply ? I want to know if my joyo2 power supply will support it 😅😢

Does this pedal offer some of features or capabilities of, for example, an Eventide H90 or a Strymon Big Sky MX, even in small ways?

Another comment, rather a request....Did you ever reviewed the Line6 Pocket Pod ?
I never got around to demoing any POD products.

DBA rules and GFI comes next!!!
I’m waiting for 64 bit.
Yes but that Suhr….. wow
I hope this drives down the price of the specular tempus.
Sounds good, however - BOO, HISS menu diving! 🎸😎
I get it -- but you can't expect something with this much power to just have a bunch of knobs and switches. It would end up looking like a Moog!
@ It’s just that these 74 year old eyeballs don’t get along with little menus.
I see you like to copy and paste ur comments. Saw you on harp ladies review of this. 🤫😉
@@kunkmiceter Well, it’s the way I feel. Should I have changed the wording?

да столько той чухни уже наделали, надоели
sounds exceptionally digital
Many of these sounds do not exist in the analog world, so yes!

That's just how LCD displays are, not a lot of font choices.
@@AndyDemos than not choose lcd I guess
This has a lot of interesting sounds but the pedal has many of the things I stay away from: deep menus, MIDI, outrageous price ($499).
Outrageous price? The price is killer for what’s offered
@@HootieHootie Definitely agree.
This pedal would SUCK on a board; supernova-heavy option paralysis! Studio gear on steroids!
