I seem to remember that Ains had more worries about Shalltear. She is one of the few people that can create Gate portals, and somewhere around this time he lamented that the strongest NPC in Nazarick was reduced to a simple transportation manager. When he Messaged her to ask a question, Shalltear greeted him by asking where to set up the next Gate. She was so overworked with Gate transportation that she was losing her mind. So, I think Ainz wanted to give her a change of pace, along with a chance to regain her sense of purpose.
Remember how shalltear failed to catch Brain because he had a secret tunnel that even his subordinates didn`t knew about, And see in here First thing shalltear does is to jump behind them and don`t allow them even slightest movement, she is trying her best.
In the opening. The character at the end who you said is a player. We have seen him in season 2 episode 1. He encountered shalltear. Also, the movie timeline wise. Takes place around episode 9 (give or take) in the anime. So the movie is not a "sequel" it happens before this seasons ending.
@@Quiestre "These mercenary monsters had to be summoned via a ritual which used a book and then expending an appropriate amount of currency according to their level. Therefore, one could not summon them without a book." Volume 8
Just to make things clear, the movie coming out this year is not the next arc! it takes place after the dwarven arc so it's before episode 7 of this season.
7:12 I've only just realized this. Last season, he said he was a collector and didn't want to let go of Stronoff. I only just connected that he wanted the child because of the same reason.
why does ains leave him self to go to do these things? cos he is reaching his mental limit as you know he has to pretend to be an all knowing god to nazarick and he cant sleep so he has to be ains 24/7 cos even at night he is watched by maids, his mental stability is reaching its limit and has to leave to find things to relief some of his mental fatigue
Exactly. This story is as much a nightmare as a power fantasy. Ainz is terrified of Nazarick learning he's actually a human on the inside. They hate humans and are capable of killing him. If not for his emotional suppression, he would have totally broken down long ago. I wish they kept this element more present in the anime. I don't remember which volume, but I remember Ainz contemplating taking a nice long vacation from Nazarick by telling everyone he needs to go on a mission of utmost importance alone.
the dwarfs and quagua arent the only things living in these mountains there is the lava moster that is as strong as a dragon lord the ice gigants the ice dragons and even more dragons in further parts of the mountain and i think some kind of weird birds too
Create Fortress isn't really that impressive if you think about it from D&D 3.5 PoV which Overlord was heavily inspired by. There are at least a dozen spells that do basically the same. Magnificent Mansion is technically potentially available to some people who aim for it before they even hit level 2 and it includes a massive feast and magical servants.
5:52 Cocytus dreams of being an uncle to Ainz's heir, thats who he meant
2:45 and with those words albedo releases demiurge to go full ham onto the holy kingdom and this is where we pick up in the holy kingdom movie
Yeah, Demi was merciless. Even I, a loyal servant of the Sorcerer King Ainz Oowl Gown, feels sorry for the fate of "the priestess".

Ainz was interested in Krush`s kid because he sees that albinos are rare and his passion for collecting rare stuff is on
Which doesn't make it any better XD

that's so interesting, I wish they showed more of this in the anime
