Solo artists! If you still want pop music… I suggest Sarah Geronimo’s “Tala.” It’s an old song, way back 2016. But she is the 1st widely recognized Filipino popstar who is great at both singing & dancing.😄 We do have other singers who make pop music but no one did it like her back then.
Sugar N Spice is definitely alot closer to the kpop sound and vibe, they'd be hard to distinguish from other kpop groups, while Bini has a more distinct sound, and the vocals are emphasized you can defnitely see a difference between the two groups.
The song writer explained it. She was looking for the Filipino word for "tropical" when she was on the process of writing it, then she looked it up and she found "Pantropiko".
