Hard to say unless know full story but drugs is a no go especially a cop should know better . Iv gone thru bad times too like anyone else but never never ever took drugs. Or smoked or drink alcohol. No excuses mental health crap just a weak excuse

As a psychologist who sees numerous Queensland Police officers there is incredibly an enormous amount of PTSD symptoms. These people face such intense stress and try to hide it and try to push on. However at some time they break, some use alcohol, some use drugs, some gamble, some abuse their partners they use innapropriate coping skills as they have in the past been ignored by their superiors, and not given the appropriate support. They worry about their job records if they talk about mental health issues. I am saddened for you as this is tragic for him, your family and all others in the same position. With treatment keep the faith we get really good results, however there needs to be more de briefing on a regular basis with ongoing psychological support and assessment without fear of judgement . Best wishes and I hope he gets improvement very soon.

He and his right wing friends on 3gb and sky never stop having a go at Hunter Biden but expect sympathy when their kin are in trouble.
