Canning green beans - keeping it green. Beginner level canning with detailed instructions.

After a nice harvest I make every effort to preserve the green beans as soon as possible, at the peak of their freshness. Canning takes time commitment, from beginning to end it will be 2-3 hours for a canner fully loaded, processed, and cooled. If you are planning to can multiple batches, that is a whole day process.
But it sure worth it when you pop the seal in the middle of winter!
