Hi Jay, Thanks! Yes. I’m kind of in soft-launch mode so I can handle the shipping. Here’s the link. There’s digital only or digital + CD www.michaelnielsenmusic.com/store
I just got over a decade of pedal addictions. Sigh. I wish I had your session job dream job. But had school and work and didn’t have time to practice full time. I still love guitar. I play fur me. Fell in love at 7 with it. I grew up where Seymour Duncan’s hit his start. Read it in guitar player magazine. He started at Vineland music center. Years later I bought my first playable Fender strat there. He was long gone though to Cali. Still have it. Waiting to sell it.
I just started watching Michaels course this morning and I have much more to watch but wanted to give an update. I really like how Michael goes through the thinking process on how to develop a riff and parts to the song. It is the real deal all of us go through when we are trying to make music. I really love this approach rather than cutting all those parts out and just show us how to play the parts. The course is much more organic and real this way. Absolutely love it so far!
Love your work and reviews Michael. Spewn you don't have any Line 6 HX Stomp stuff to buy off your store as you seem to get the best sounds out of everything you demo. Looking forward to listening to your latest music release. :)
It's a chugging machine! Love that midrange, which cuts through, but is still so pleasing! They must use FET's! Very Tube sounding. A bet it sounds awesome with a strat too!
I've been using the same Tube Screamer since 1994. I've been looking for another overdrive to give me more punch more grit more harmonics more gain just more of what a tube screamer does. This is that pedal. I can dial this paddle in so it sounds exactly the same as my modded Tube Screamer but the tube screamer sounds a little bigger and more open but has a lot less gain but they sound almost exactly the same. What the G3 does is add some compression that sort of hides that extra gain. This is the best Pedal I've been able to find in my tone search in the last 25 years
Awesome!!! Sounds like you have it dialed in!!! Check the G2 as well if you want something even a litttle closer to tube screamer, but with the G3 flexibility.
@@BigHairyGuitars I already have a couple of golden tube screamers. I have a TS-10 to die for. I wanted to move a little more toward high gain territory. I seriously doubt anything can sound bigger than my 94 modded TS-9. It's too huge and sweet and just can't be beat in that dept just needed more gain. The G3 does it perfectly. The TS-9 is fatter but lacks the gain. The G3 can't get the width the TS-9 does!
ha! Thanks!Honestly, I've made Tonex captures of pedals. The problem is that the Tonex doesn't have the same output capacity of a hot pedal. So the gain tone is similar, but the overall function isn't quite the same... at least the way I use 'em.
Hi Michael, yet another great vid. I had a look at the course and am really interested. However the site states "closed for enrollment". When clicking the enrollment button at the top the site just restarts. Am I missing something? Cheers
Michael, Excellent video as always and it is well appreciated. I looked at the page for your course and I hit the enroll button to see more and it keeps bringing back to that page. What am not doing correctly?
I tried to title this video: Every distortion pedal i have can be made tight and heavy.one is even called the tightmetal pro, but this one from Revv is really good. But it was too long to fit into the title space 😅
Mikes album is out? Where can i get it

What a great download package - enjoyed every note and tab in it - Thx Michael ❣

My friend this is a KILLER intro tune!!!! Sounds are amazing and the playing is stellar! Excellent demo! Thank you for this!
This opening riff is STELLAR. Revv knows gain and you know how to make it slam.
Oh shit - I went to look at the course and saw the ALBUM! Immediately purchased.
YOU'RE A GEM!!! THANKS JOHNNY!!!
Thank you so much for not running it just to the poweramp of the amp. lol. This gives me a real world sample of what it’ll sound like.
This was a fantastic demo video! Thanks so much for filming this.
Man your demo's are pretty much my go to now, great work and great playing as always 👍🏼
Your previous G3 demos sounded good but wow, killer tone and playing Michael
Glad you finally released the album. Went above and beyond what I expected with the digital package. Looking forward to my signed hard copy as well.
Thanks so much! 😊😊😊
That intro was a real killer tune. Gotta have to get your album!
Thanks! I hope you love it! I worked hard on it.
Wow, that thing has some balls! Love it!
Mike, I got your cd in the mail today. Thank you for making it available to purchase. Loving what you've wrote. 🤘
Thanks SO much Daniel!

Killer demo! 🧡
Sounds cool. Has a bit of an Empress Heavy vibe. And I mean that as a compliment.

Who all listened to the opening track multiple times?
Yes, I did! Tasty AF wasn't it!!!

Best opening tracks in the game
Opening tracks always awesome !!! Make an album of it !!!
Dam! That sounds gloriously good!!! 👍🏽 Might just have to pick me up one of these 🤔

This is why we do it!
Michael, awesome sounding little pedal With a lot of Crunches!!
BEN says howdy from Ontario 🤘🎸🤠 Your Music-In-Law
Ha! Hi guys! Ben sees all!
😊Great Michael great ...
Very TOOL sounding!
Love this pedal!
I have a REVV G3 pedal. It does the thing. Very flexible.

That's a stank face riff. Badass.
🤣 HA! Thanks!
Where were you at the Guitar Summit?
Soon in a Tonexpedal near you😬😅Sounds really good, great demo as usual🤩

Oh man. SO SORRY! I'll check!
Hi Darren, it should be working now. I just went and was able to buy it. I had a bad setting earlier this morning.
@@BigHairyGuitars Thanks Michael. Just bought the course 👍 Looking forward to getting stuck in. Cheers
Sold mine a while back, thought it was a great pedal though. Now that a 'new' one is out the old ones used prices will go down! lol
Having a full EQ it would be interesting to hear it directly into a power amp as a preamp
It slams as a preamp on its own!
Sounds \\Killer//
How’s it compare to the previous version?
I like it more than the original. It's a little more amp-like to me. I also have the G2 and Anniversary version, I'm gonna do an A/B vid with those.
Is this a tight pedal only Michael? I like a little spongey feeling.
Go for the G4 is you want a more spongey sound! It's a beasttttt

Fixed. THANKS SO MUCH!
Also... check your email... Thanks!
@@BigHairyGuitars Thanks Michael!! Glad it was caught early
Pro tip, never listen to Michael’s 🔥 riffage while driving… 🚨 Such a badass 🤘🏼
Haha awesome!
🤘😎🤘
Angry bees fighting a chainsaw 😂
I think that contraction is “buzzsaw”. 🤣😂
@@BigHairyGuitars Yeah, but the bees are already buzzing, so I had to come up with and alternative 😉
Play something in standard tuning with heavy distortion.
I actually just bought a guitar so I can keep it in standard for metal.
Once again everyone running infomercials
The riff is so greasy, yeah where is the album?
Thanks!!! NEW ALBUM is HERE! 😎😄
