WGAC has a box of 24 rolls for $34, jsyk! They've also improved their Bamboo TP since this vid because I noticed their TP got softer than before. One of the things I love about them is that they donate 50% of their profits to build toilets around the world. I also love that they have limited edition wrappers & boxes every year for their Bamboo TP. They have one available right now called "Where's the Loo?" and my favourite from their past designs was the Play Edition because it was fun for the children in our house. I've read that they collaborate with a local artist to design these limited editions so that's a plus!

The paper each company wraps the roll in is so cute - I feel like it'd be great to use as wrapping paper for small gifts. Do you think that would work?
I recently started using a bidet which is great tbh but I still use TP to dry everything up. So far all the ones I’ve used suck bc they just disintegrate with the water and leave a lot of residue. I recently went to an Airbnb and they had the WGAC TP and I just felt like it was the kind I needed! So finding out this video to compare bamboo tp is perfect for me 😌❤️

Sometimes that plastic tape is actually EcoEnclose biodegradable "plastic" tape. It'll breakdown in about 180 days naturally. I actually use it for my shipping boxes too :)

My 4 teens and I are using Reel for first time and like what they stand for. We love the toilet paper and paper towels! They remind me of Costco Kirkland tp and pt texture. Each tp roll lasts comparable or longer to a mega roll from traditional brands. Also NO CLOGGED TOILETS since using Reel TP!

Angela, could you please comment on whether you have found the Reel bamboo TP to be linty? I hate having tp stick to me and I can stand to give a little on softness if it doesn't disintegrate on me. I like it to break down, just not immediately on my skin. 🤷♀️
@@StrollingThroughLife The tp is not linty. A couple of my teens commented they liked that the tp didn't fall apart or leave anything stuck while using. I agree with them. I'm impressed and am on my second order! We ended up having clogged toilet once and that was due to my son using a weirdly large amount of tp. Clog was fixed very easy.
If I like cottonelle, which would be most comparable to softest and texture? FYI: I tried the w.g.a.c. recycled and I do NOT like the dots on the other side. Thanks!

Been considering a bidet, but the only way to get a decent one with warm water is to get one of the expensive full toilet seats. And even if you do that, you'll still need some tp. So I'm considering switching to bamboo if it isn't too hard on my wallet.
Janet Beatrice Yay! I’m glad you found this video! Haha I have a whole series on bamboo toilet paper. 🙈 I have the Tushy bidet attachment and they do make a version that has hot water. But it’s definitely not as luxurious as a full proper bidet. It’s definitely a good idea to keep some toilet paper around just in case. I still have many rolls in my own place. That’s great! I’d love to hear what you think if you end of trying some!

I'm considering trying one of those travel bidets just so that I can try it out. There's a $10 one at Lowe's by a good company (Bondell? Blondell?). If I do try the bamboo tp, I'll be sure to let you know what I think (and also if I try one of the travel bidets). :-)
Tushy and Butt Buddy have "spa" bidets that give you the warm water setting and they vary in price. They're attachments and not a full blown toilet seat. Though I do want a TOTO eventually lol.

I had no idea there were so many brands available lol. Have you tried Caboo? It's a brand I found on Amazon that makes toilet paper, paper towels and tissue. I have Caboo right now it's not too bad :) I don't use any less of it then I would with regular TP though so that's kind of disappointing lol and also the rolls are smaller.

I use the Charmin brand it doesn’t have cardboard there, it cost effective 26.00 for 3 months I know it is not so natural but it does flush, I also use toilet wipes Dude wipes which I don’t flush, because toilet here are not capable of that. I get 3 pkgs of Dude wipes for 9.00. I was considering Bamboo will have to see, Thanks for your video it helps me to decide.

Has anyone done the math compared to value brands at grocery stores? Is it overall more expensive to order these? Or a better value? Obviously more sustainable which im all about but also...im poor. Lol 💩 A little disappointed the pricing wasn't a factor in this.
Banana Fana Typically these do cost more than the virgin tree paper toilet paper. It’s a bummer. Unfortunately because eco-friendly products aren’t mass produced, they cost more.
This is a wonderful review.. But What about the fact that toilet paper is a chemical nightmare. We're literally being poisoned every single day with every product we use. With pfas, eca etc, formaldehyde, bleach😢...etc which can Never leave your body.... unless you donate blood so it's in us hurting us constantly causing cancers, etc . .It's quite sad. But persevere 😂 get these good efo friendly paper. These are the best.

I use reel. I choose them because they are, bamboo, black owned and they give back. I'm so happy they have come out with paper towels.

I got No. 2 and am disappointed on how quickly the rolls run out. They have fewer sheets per roll than normal (non bamboo) toilet paper :(

For the paper packaging around the actual rolls...Do you know if all of that is compostable/recyclable or are they all just meant to be trashed?
I prefer Reel, tried a couple of others, still prefer them when I do use TP, prefer not, installed hand held bidet so a box lasted 9 months.
I work at FedEx and we have to retape boxes alot! So it just could be taped in shipping

Does anyone know if the paper that the rolls are packaged in for any of these brands are made from bamboo as well? I'm currently trying Reel but don't see anywhere that says one way or the other. Thanks!

Has anyone done the math compared to value brands at grocery stores? Is it overall more expensive to order these? Or a better value? Obviously more sustainable which im all about but also...im poor. Lol 💩 A little disappointed the pricing wasn't a factor in this.
Banana Fana Typically these do cost more than the virgin tree paper toilet paper. It’s a bummer. Unfortunately because eco-friendly products aren’t mass produced, they cost more.

This is a wonderful review.. But What about the fact that toilet paper is a chemical nightmare. We're literally being poisoned every single day with every product we use. With pfas, eca etc, formaldehyde, bleach😢...etc which can Never leave your body.... unless you donate blood so it's in us hurting us constantly causing cancers, etc . .It's quite sad. But persevere 😂 get these good efo friendly paper. These are the best.
Yes, this honestly is my ONLY reason for "flushing money down the toilet" LOL! I could care less about eco/environmental part of this. The toxicity issue is what I want to know about. Like, there's a few brands I noticed were white. Why would bamboo tp be white?

Looks like No.2 and The Good Roll sell unwrapped toilet paper. You can choose with both, unwrapped is also cheaper. Has anyone bought unwrapped toilet paper? I like that it's cheaper but I also don't want to end up with gross/dusty rolls.
