Thank you for providing the script for a part of the podcast that had me tearing up laughing! I hope your issues are going to resolve themselves. I don't really have advice for finding the thing that fulfills you, still looking myself, but maybe the guys' advice helps (or at least cheers you up).
Lucas: “Stanford, widely considered the best, if not one of the best” Should be: “Stanford, widely considered one of the best, if not the best” Unrelated, has Jamie ever thought about donating a book or two to Lucas
The benefit to telemark skiing is actually that it distributes the force of your turning motion into your thigh/calf and removes a lot of pressure from your knee. It might look more crunchy compared to normal skiing but there's a much lower rates of knee injury comparatively. Also alot people who did get hurt skiing will pick up tele, which is why it's popular with older people.
Tbh Jamie should’ve clapped back at Lucas even harder during the lil “does college matter” chat, to be more commensurate with the crime that was Lucas doubling down on the “going to the best schools yet being on this pod” thing as being a logically sound argument. I mean, it was a funny standalone comment, just fundamentally incongruent to the debate - so why not just laugh about the realization instead of the whole “no you’re not getting it” and saying it several more times (and somehow even more confidently each time)? No hate btw! Just hopefully some encouragement for Jamie to check Lucas more often because it’s satisfying 😇
The fact that you set up the "Where do I go to college?"-question with naming top universities and then just ignored Maddy's repeatedly sent in question where she has to decide between a Harvard JD MBA and an art history PhD in a top program just because it looked too long pains me a little. I'm in a weird mood already though because you made me cry laughing with John trying to read even before the voices. Is that why he always wanted to do our accents, by the way? To get into character? By all means, do it if it helps you reading. I'd appreciate if I didn't get this "girly" voice though. Anyway, I don't know what the fuck my brain's doing right now but this is somehow all hysterical to me. I don't fully know what a potluck is and how to differentiate it from another party. I throw boring parties though, I'd definitely say do it. I was hosting five person get togethers with a new recipe I tried out and no alcohol because I lived in the middle of nowhere and everyone had to drive and everyone dressed weirdly formal for my eighteenth birthday and onwards and had a blast. Keegan is the honorary lesbian guy, if you remember, and I think that makes it even funnier. PS: I keep getting scary German Dr. Squatch ads in a weird regional accent that's sort of hypnotic. I hope TH-cam gives you the money for that ad eventually because you deserve it.
Bruh 200 views in an hour. This podcast criminally underrated and I’m not even autistic
John, thank you for stepping into me and bringing my question to life❤️

Thank you, that’s so kind! Their riff on my question and John interpreting my voice made my whole week😂

Did Lucas already know that or did Katie describe it? How do you even collect rings irl? So many questions.
They hang from metal stands along the course and you put your arm through to grab them!
@@ksteinj SO YOU CAN PRETEND your sonic
I fuck with this way more now
Alright I’m 12 min in and so uncomfortable with hearing my name this much
Damn it there’s another Katie who listens to this pod
