Black Mamba mortars are NO JOKE. They're actually some of the most powerful non license grade I've ever fired off.
They will ABSOLUTELY activate every single car alarm for a quarter mile in a city.

If you want to up your loudness and danger level well over 9000, intentionally put the mortar shell in upside down. You better run like the devil himself is on your heels though. When that puppy goes off it will sound like an artillery strike and is unbelievably powerful.
I put something solid between me and the mortar tube when I do that. It actually destroys the tube and throws chunks.

Do this during a nice big snow storm (the bigger flakes are best). The entire sky and every single snowflake, horizon to horizon, will be whatever color the shell was. Absolutely awesome. My first time was during a midnight backroad whiskey cruise in a wide open valley. Stunning.
I just wanted to comment that I've been born a fireworks enthusiast and seeing your home-built mortar shelf is inspirational. I want to get back into fireworks so bad now.

@iTzLagz1995 it was about 50 lbs. Um idk cauae I put it in my truck. I doubt it. Best case is to build 2 30.shot racks and then screw em together

I love being a mile or so away and seeing it then hearing the boom from the launch and the explosion of the fireworks and the crackles on delay.
Like being in the bleachers and hearing that delayed crack of the bat.

These are awesome a group of friends and I fired a number of these. Only had one fail blow through the tube launch over our shoulder and explode in the direction we were running. We survived 😂 never forget that glowing orb maybe next time ill make that harness. Stay safe

I got 5 of those giant things and then bought extra fuses linked them all together and then we put them all at the same time and it was so much fun
Use small zip ties instead of tape. We use to use tape also but it would put the fuse out a lot of times. We switched to zip ties and got a lot better results just don’t crank them down super tight just snug enough to not come apart. Hope this helps brother and be safe out there
Also, if you cut the mortar shell fuse at an angle it helps to ensure it ignites, just put the exposed core against the main fuse.

Such a great idea to build that wooden support. After we had 1 fall over, mid launch, we ALL realized what can go wrong. We did get the pasture fire out without needing to call the fire department.🔥

I made custom tubes,4' ,they go higher and the base won't blow out. One blowout happened ,it was cool. Never again.

If you want 100 percent fuse ignition, use 2 or 4 lb monofilament fishing line. Just twist a little around it and a little overhand knot or 2. Works literally every time for me. (Aside from the duddos)

For all the hard heads, this is NOT BLACK PVC PIPE, this is HDPE, a completely diff type of material that can handle a blast. if you use PVC it will explode on the ground and send shards of plastic in every direction

You don't need to use tape, just tie the wick around the pink wick . I had that issue with the tape. It shot 32 out of 50
