Nice shadow coat applied, i think that with that rubber mat applied the compressor is a bit more quiet! Thanks for sharing Mike, take care and keep up the good work my friend!

Thank you so much my friend I hope the mat works but for now I’ll try and airbrush off camera so not to cause issues.

I love a Spitfire. Sound of one also. !/48 is the size I usually go for. In bombers though 1/72 is big enough. My Spitfire dons German markings as one that was captured & flown to airshows throughout German occupied Europe. Wingman Archer from the Tuskegee Red Tails came upon a P-51B in natural finish that was sporting German markings. He was in a P-51B also. The compressor is fine. If it bugs you, do what you have to, but, we all know the sound of airbrushing. So far so good. Love the subject.

Thank you so much Daniel I really appreciate it. To be honest the compressor doesn’t bother me but I had a couple of comments saying it put people off watching so I decided to try and do something about it. Anyway this one will be a traditional spit as May make it a D-day type diorama. I do love the look and sound of the spitfire such an iconic aircraft.
Many thanks for watching and commenting I really do appreciate it.

Hiya Mike, people have to remember that you are working in a metal shed, naturally any noise will resonate in a small area.

Many many thanks Malcolm for your comment, support and for taking time to watch. Yes I think maybe part of the problem is that the bench is screwed to a sheet of sterling board which is screwed to the shed wall so vibration goes through it all.

Thank you for taking time to watch and comment Phil I really appreciate it. The compressor does a good job but just want to make watching my videos a better experience for those watching.

A difference yes. Any more would give you the problems of cooling it. Think you have done the best with the kit you have got with the space you have. Onward!
