This is my hometown and I live here still. It has gotten a bit out of hand the last few years, but always a sight to see. Total chaos and beauty at once! Now, if only they would clean up after themselves when they leave our beaches. Too many just walk away from their trash, leaving it to many volunteers to clean up for some time afterwards.
My wife is from here and I moved up from Oregon. I’ve been to a couple of these and will never go again. I was disgusted by how the beach was left. The beach itself is also gross. I hope they get rid of fireworks on the beach forever.
@@Delovoa exactly. I vacation at ocean shores a couple times a year and even in the winter the trash from the 4th is still there. It makes me sick to see these people treat my favorite place so badly
I try to clean up trash when I see it and what I can carry. I know what you mean. I love your town. It's sad to see people abuse the beautiful beach and pollute the water and animal life etc
they should just charge people a fee to light up fireworks, like based on how much they're bringing in and then use that money to pay people to clean up the beach
@@krismccrackin7113 good riddance. It’s one of the most disgusting beaches I’ve ever walked on. And nobody picks up after themselves when it’s over. Hope it gets banned forever.
Great video! Found myself. 5th year being at Ocean Shores with the family. Unbelievable sound and feeling of being in the thick of it. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing!! I have celebrated the Fourth of July in Ocean Shores for many many years...always a thrill, and this video captured the moment beautifully. Thanks for sharing!
Well ofcourse people are naturally social creatures without it will perish into anxiety, sad, depression and all other kinds of diseases.. No problem, my neighbor was down at Taurus as well. I flew from just east of the golf course, clean line of site out over the hotels and trees to the airspace above the beach.
@@clinton9268 Watching the people who park way up front scrambling when the tide comes in and the motorhomes that get stuck with the tide coming in is almost the best part!
I lived at Jbs Rv park on Damon rd approach. It always sounded like a war zone on 4th of July, beautiful but a lot of overkill. Now, if people would just clean up after themselves that would have been nice
Awsome video, thanks for sharing. Could you fill me in on who composed the music that starts at 4:40? Any info on it would be cool. For some reason from 4:40 on I was completely stuck and mesmerized, but then again I may just be a lunatic .
We're all lunatics, its part of the human condition! :) The song is "Over Time" by Audionautix, from TH-cam studio audio library. studio.th-cam.com/channels/B3gEM1TGxS8dPOVa_pP_kA.htmlmusic
Awesome! Found myself haha. Almost got mine up there but at the time being in the middle off it all I felt like I might get blown outta the sky. Totally different perspective. Looks so chaotic from the ground.
What kind of drone did you use? I went to watch them 'blowing up the beach' 8-9 years ago. Love that the community comes out the next day and picks up the shrapnel left by 'us tourist'. Love 'the Shores'!
Hey Will, a little worried at times. I had looked up highest altitude for the largest consumer mortars ahead of time and flew 75 feet above that. Some seemed pretty high though eh?
Fabulous foottage. BUT, music is all wrong, (imo) Should be Stars & stripes forever Plus star spangled banner. Newcomers to our great nation wont understand the grandeur w/o the national American music to understand better what it means to be us.

Shocked me to see more sedans than sands😮

That was amazing! Ive never seen America celebrate like that. It was so beautiful! Thank u for sharing it with me and my family!
No problem G, I enjoy making em!
That's how we do it in shores. Every year the beach is like this. But since covid. There has been more then I ever seen in the last 20 years

Pretty sure I've seen all OS 4th vids .. this is the best... Well done.

Thanks for your videos and god bless America and Washington state. Amen

This is the most people I have ever seen come to ocean shores in 20 years.
Amazing what a year long pandemic and a national holiday can do to a nations population. Everybody wants to get out and go now!

We have always wanted to drive over for 4th of July. haven't gone.
Plan on going this year😊 Pretty excited!
How did it go?
I have never seen that many cars at the beach! Great footage!
Nice drone work way out over the water.
What a beautiful vid. The fireworks, smoke and waves were mesmerizing.
The waves where small. Come back in January when we get typhoons and the waves get up to 40ft
I was there too..its was absolutely out of this world..God bless America
Hello from Brazil. Super like for your video. Beautiful nature. 🇧🇷
Moved to this place a couple of weeks ago and the sights are breathtaking
It's a pretty cool place.
Wonderful perspective. Great video-ography. Thanks!
Just bought a beach front home on sand dune ave. I'm looking forward to this every 4th
Wow great video!
Awesome, I was hoping you were there. Really enjoyed the King Tide video too. We were down by the Taurus beach entrance. Thanks for sharing.

Love it! I've been to OS many times over the years, but never on Independence Day.
Wait, so everyone just brings their own fireworks and lights them up? That's crazy!!! 😂
Yes, then the tide rolls in and people scramble it is great!!

Wow, that's great to hear!

Yeah, I wouldn't take off in that warzone either. :)
Awesome sight
amazing 🥺👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
That’s why it was so loud this year. I was wondering. The place is too pretty for that. Everybody die from smoke intihlation this year?

Flying a DJI Mini 2 now. Nice little drone.
Yeah we do. Every single year. It's disgusting what you guys leave behind.
COOL !!!
Bubba, you should splice in a little bit of the gorgeous sunset from the evening of the 4th, as an appetizer.
Hey Jeff, this is last year's video. This year's actually does open with some of that sunset on the beach.:). th-cam.com/video/3Fsjupf4gcQ/w-d-xo.html
seriously such a great video
like how often would someone catch this on video??!
Much better in person then the video
I was there it was epic
I was there it was amazing
I was there let’s go!
Incredible! Were you ever worried your drone would be hit by fireworks?
Hey Will, a little worried at times. I had looked up highest altitude for the largest consumer mortars ahead of time and flew 75 feet above that. Some seemed pretty high though eh?
Fascinating! Great research and once again, such an amazing video!
looks good but how bout more sound of the firework and less music?
Stretching VLOS a bit there for a Mini 2
True, much harder to keep an eye on than the Fimi X8 I used to fly.
The FAA rules are in place for a reason.
Nice view. I have a drone footage wants to show you. Maybe you Nerve seen
🤔where is oxygen??
Better on half speed

Little too much piano. LOL
More cowbell!
Great, but too bad it wasn't dark. Another 30 minutes would have been deep twilight. I know, I know, look a gift horse in the mouth. :-)
Yeah, the winds were picking up, and drizzle often and on, wanted to make sure I got it in.
