Slight error in editing - I accidentally edited Waterfall's effect in with Spillover! I hope you'll still be able to follow with my explanation - sorry for the mistake!
16:40 No mistakes here, but I thought it would be interesting if you could point out that your Raopias actually trigger from your Berserk Dragon hitting that Promise Daughter. :) Actually, Raopia and Aermo both only state that units have to be retired during your turn, not that it has to be through card effects. Just thought that could be a fact that is interesting to know.
Looks like a good list :) It's funny because back in the old format I had a Waterfall/Overlord deck because I didn't have the budget for DOTE. Raopia, Gaias and stuff were absolute staples in my deck :D
I've been doing well with my 8 crit 4 draw lineup so far. Though, I might try 6 draws if I feel the current situation needs it. Other than that, it's been going great. And yeah, I did bump down Gaias to 2 for another Raopia.
I like these types of videos. Could you maybe do these videos for each of the clans when their sets come out? They're great ways to having ideas of how to build the deck, plus showing what the deck can do in an actual game. I would like to see more of these videos for the other sets.
I really want to see the first extra booster. Tachikaze is looking really interesting with this new Equip Gauge mechanic of theirs and that's the one I'm looking forward to seeing the most in action.
They're all looking to be exciting, but my order currently is Tachikaze, Megacolony, and Spike Brothers. Megacolony is really hyping up constant on-ride with Stag Beetle and Spark Hercules that I'm fearing what those two will do once actually revealed, since they have two foil cards whose only job is to search for grade 3s. Spike Brothers seems better soul charging from field while still calling out units, but there's no battle phase calling yet, which is way better than main phase calling. Hopefully General Seifried will bring the battle phase call. Either way, this set is really bringing the hype since all three clans appear to be getting sone changes to them, small (Spike Brothers/Megacolony) or large (Tachikaze).
You should do an updated post Psyqualia profile for Kagero and Royals once the stuff from AL4 is done! I’m sure I’m not the only one curious to see how these decks run with the new support!
i really like your deck previews they help me think of a possible builds for certain clans and i was hoping and or wondering if you could do a shadow paladin preview i mean literally nobody is even talking about shadow paladins and its kind of a bummer
Just FYI, you would not be able to use the Spillover+Cruel Dragon combo. Cruel Dragon says that you can Normal call it not Superior call it. Since you cannot Normal call during the combat phase you would not be able to do this.
Not planning to for now - got some other content that I'm placing a higher priority on. Might do a Premium Victor possibly, but I haven't tested it at all with all the Standard I've been playing haha
How has Gaias been working for you? The build itself is same as my first test version, but personally haven't liked Gaias too much in testing. Also I like the fact that people are seeing the use with Spillover now too. I had been talking about it with Aermo and stuff for ages already now. Also over Gaias I've been using Gojo cause when opponent is on g2 the +3k it gives to the boosted unit matters with Overlord for an extra stage if it restands. EDIT: Oh and I run 8 crits 4 draw, 4 heal. Simply cause Overlord restand feels somewhat meh to me if it doesn't get crit on it. Though I understand why you'd run them.
AdreusPlaysVanguard I really like Great Bombing of Hellfire, Gabija (+10k when it attacks as long as you retired this turn and it can't stack) over Gaias. She makes very easy 28k+ columns which is at least two cards out of hand for 1 CB. Just pair her with Aermo for a 28k attack or Raopia for a 30k+ attack.
I like your deck again, but I kinda feel like people are underestimating Gaias. I didn´t try 8 draws, but wouldn´t Gaias be even better then? A spare Overlord to the rear with SoulBlast and a Gaias would totally make up for not checking a crit trigger. With this deck, you can keep the opponent´s damage low because they kinda have to guard Waterfall if they are at 4 damage, and I think with the lack of crit triggers esp. in your build a pumped G3 Rear with Gaias would be devastating even if you only check draw triggers.
Tell me you did NOT just call Kagero the weakest of the decks! Seriously? Dude I've taken down the other three decks with my Overlord/Waterfall deck with ease. Even survived Soul Saver and Victorious Deer's powerups.

Yup that's true! I made a short comment of 'Raopia also gets the power up' or something along those lines haha
I checked the comments after seeing it lol
So glad I found a youtuber who's into standard and does good previews. Keep it up mate
Haha thank you! I'm honestly loving Standard a lot, so you can expect lots and lots of content!
awsome!
dude these videos are so helpful thank you so much
Glad to be of help!
Dis da quality content I'm subbed for hope you keep em vids coming man
Thank you!

dude sick vid, keep it up. i learn so much from each video ^_^
Thank you very much!
8 draw was unexpected but quite reasonable specially for the games where DO stays as vanguard

SWEET! I LOVE IT!

I’m hoping to do just that actually! Hopefully I have enough time but I’ll do my best haha
I really want to see the first extra booster. Tachikaze is looking really interesting with this new Equip Gauge mechanic of theirs and that's the one I'm looking forward to seeing the most in action.
I'm actually most excited for Tachi as well, so that's definitely the first one I wanna cover haha

Sir Kris, I also recommend using cruel dragon just for that early push and the random soulcharge...
i really like your deck previews they help me think of a possible builds for certain clans and i was hoping and or wondering if you could do a shadow paladin preview i mean literally nobody is even talking about shadow paladins and its kind of a bummer
I'm planning to haha, just on holiday currently

Yup, that’s true. I’ll make sure to clarify it during the budget video in case I confused anyone!
Differentfight might do correction later himself, but Cruel Dragon is normal call and can't be called in battle phase with Spillover Dragon.
Yup, I'll mention the correction in the budget video!
16:28 why berserk and not Nehalem?
Waterfall Hype boiz!
Instead of 2 Gaias I use 2 Dragon Monk Gojo, you think that's a suitable replacement?
While it fills a different role, I think it works!
Love that grade 1. So what procs that plus 5k. Just retire through ability? Or does battle work
Battle works too!
DifferentFight omg that's amazing. I plan on building novas and kagero from my case on q4. Thanks man.
Does this also apply to aermos skill?
Talk about STRONK!!! :)
Can you do shadow paladin next?
For Spillover Dragon’s effect you used Dragonic Waterfall’s effect in it’s place!
Oh god I'm so sorry, I hope people can still follow LOL
Let’s say I soul blast overlord for waterfalls skill, do I lose a force marker, or will it still be active
Force markers stay forever on the field, so don't worry - you won't lose it no matter what!
DifferentFight thx dude
The budget versions of the decks will be available right?
Yup, aiming for late this week or early next week, just before the English release!
Lol I run one Vortex Dragon just for an endgame. Once the grade 4 comes out, I'll probably take it out.
Are you going to do premier deck profiles for unite team q4?
Not planning to for now - got some other content that I'm placing a higher priority on. Might do a Premium Victor possibly, but I haven't tested it at all with all the Standard I've been playing haha
DifferentFight same
Also, bellicosity dragon and dragon armored knight are all good... but its all your opinion in the end...
I honestly wouldn’t cut either Spillover nor Nehalem for them though.
can you do a budget kagero build ?
I'll have a video containing a budget build for every clan soon!
The CC and that last G1 also triggers when a rearguard is retired by beeing attacked and retired right?
Yup yup, they do!
DifferentFight thats really nice
This is Overlord, what the fuck is a Kagero?
I feel like change sermon for joka as it also prevent sentinel and boost 10k for the vg
You probably saw the wrong Joka skill, give the Errata page a look to see the real skill! en.cf-vanguard.com/howto/errata-cards/
Personally I would go 3-3 on Bahr and Gaias but thats just me :)
Thank you for not moving the screen as much!
LOL I try haha
How has Gaias been working for you? The build itself is same as my first test version, but personally haven't liked Gaias too much in testing. It's alright, I get why people don't like it that much, but with my trigger line-up I feel like it makes Overlord more threatening as well.
Well yeah if you get draws it makes it kinda feel like the Purge in a sense. + Defensive draws are huge in standard.
AdreusPlaysVanguard I really like Great Bombing of Hellfire, Gabija (+10k when it attacks as long as you retired this turn and it can't stack) over Gaias. how come no perfect guards
The draw triggers are perfect guards!
Sweet. I feel like just playing Overlord I mean Kagero.
there is only Overlord, what is a kagero?
A subclan of Ovelord
I like your deck again, but I kinda feel like people are underestimating Gaias. I didn´t try 8 draws, but wouldn´t Gaias be even better then? That's a good point! I think I would possibly bump Bahr down to 3 and bump Gaias up to 3 in that case.
Tell me you did NOT just call Kagero the weakest of the decks! Seriously? Dude I've taken down the other three decks with my Overlord/Waterfall deck with ease. Even survived Soul Saver and Victorious Deer's powerups.
#bestkagero Nice dude

Don't mistake a player's skill for a deck's strength.
First!
Sub out 2 waterfall for 2 vortex dragon factor in belecosity dragon
Their skills stack from retire like roaphia. I know I butchered names in this
I have the deck
