Your videos make me happy :) As a barista, i have an insight to the not completely full cups of coffee. Most coffee shops put a specific amount of liquid in every cup, the reason it’s not full isn’t because they put less liquid, it’s less ice. Happens all the time at Starbucks too. They put the liquid up to the top black line on iced drinks for every drink. You are never being cheated out of your drink, it’s most likely just less ice.

I tagged you in it because if it wasn’t for you I would not have found my new favorite drink from there! I grew up next to La Cañada so once I go back and visit home I’m definitely trying constellation!
Omg my bestfriends cousins live by a human bean and she’s brought me their chocolate covered espresso beans and they’re so good! 😭 I just mapped where the closest one to LA is and it’s only an hour drive! I need to go lol
So starbucks isn’t a franchise, it’s all owned by the same person and they’re super picky about where they put their locations so you can’t just open a starbucks wherever you wanted. However, they will do this thing where you can partner with them. Say if someone wanted to open their own coffee shop they will come in and train that person and allow them to buy merchandise from them (when this happens there’s usually a sign that says something along the lines of “we serve starbucks coffee”). I only know this because my family and i are currently in the process of opening a coffee shop and considered this as an option just to help get us started. The thing you guys were talking about usually happens on doordash- restaurants have like a “virtual brand” but usually just end up selling the same food🤦🏼♀️ just another way for big chain restaurants to make more money unfortunately.
My bf lives close to Constellation and I didn't get to try their matcha so I have to go back now hehe but if you go back to that area downtown Montrose is super super cute!

My favorite videos 😭 I would recommend this coffee shop in the coachella valley called everbloom. They only sell coffee but they taste amazing. this is late but if you want to have an authentic match taste, you should try Sunrise Studio in Irvine, CA! It's a boba store but their matcha is so earthy I love it! They have oat milk too!

You should definitely try Cafe Dulce Lindsay!! I’m currently a senior @ USC and it’s north of campus. It’s amazing. Their blueberry matcha is my favorite. They also do the 1/2 gallon version of drinks too! :)
Bean coffee IS local, my boyfriend know who the owner is, they're not tied to coffee bean BUT they do use the powder! One time I got a cold brew with oatmilk and vanilla and I could just TELL it wasn't vegan, so I had my boyfriend ask and yeah, sadly they use the vanilla powder that has dairy in it :(
Unfortunately I think matcha is an afterthought or a “trendy item” for most coffee places so they’re all just using the same premade mix that’s sweetened already
try junbi. you gotta go to an asian place for good real matcha. junbi sources their matcha from japan, the finest matcha around. too many fake matcha out there.
they are two different places! coffee bean is short for “the coffee bean & tea leaf” which is a big franchise and they were at bean coffee roasters which is a smaller coffee chain . i hope that helps! i know it sounds confusing since they practically said the same words

Coffee shops specialize in coffee, not matcha. Go to a matcha store if you want "authentic" matcha
