About this channel: We are the Smith's. A Christian family of 6, living in the country just outside of Georgetown, Texas. Granger, a touring country music singer, Amber, an actor and stay at home mom, and their children: London, Lincoln, River and Maverick.
My husband and I lost out 25 year old son 5 years ago. You are truly an inspiration to us both.
Sorry for your loss. I can't imagine losing a child. Prayers for serenity and joy knowing you will meet back up in heaven someday.
Your warning reminds me of talks with my dad. When I was young I was frustrated with friends that would go through girlfriends like laundry, then complain to me about no good women around. My dad asked, "where they meeting these girls?" I said usually at the bar. He laughed and said "you can't buy a race horse at a pig auction". We talked about hanging out with friends at bars. He asked me why I'd go there, I got all defensive and he said "woah woah woah. I never said don't go to bars, I asked why" he said, "Son, back in Jesus' day, where tax collectors hung out was as disdainful as bars are to many Christians today. Jesus when over to eat with the tax collectors and his disciples had panic attacks. Back then it was very important who you are with, it could be a reputation breaker. Here's my take on it. Jesus knew he was more powerful than a reputation, more powerful that any wickedness of the tax collectors. He didn't go to preach to them. He met them where they were, ate with them lived Love to them without yielding to wickedness, and changed their lives. I can only hope wherever you go you remember who you are, whose you are why you should be there, kindly refuse wickedness and live Love." He got up and got busy with something. I got frustrated with some of his friends and let him know, he'd look at me with that half smile and intense, wise blue eyes and softly say " If all the good people give up on them where is Hope? Where is Faith? Where is Love? They know I know their ways, do not agree with or will participate in their ways but they are my friends. As Wiley and tricky as they are they can't figure it out, but they will."
So I know we are called to the den of unbelievers to stand tall, speak Truth and live Love not condemnation. It isn't easy, but if God has tempered you for that on His forge, that's what you do.

I agree wholeheartedly! If you’re afraid to mention Him, does that mean you’re ashamed of God? Look at our country today. We can’t reference God in schools and they even removed the Bible government building . Has everyone forgotten What was this nation founded on? I have no problem with other religions, but when you go to other countries, do they stop their practices because I’m offended? Pledge of allegiance says “,one nation under God…and liberty and justice for all “!

Thank you, Granger, for the warning and for the discernment you are showing to realize some will misunderstand and will see your being on certain shows as an endorsement. Just as our Savior spent time with the most unlovable, in order to share God's great love with them, and was criticized for it, you too may be criticized for going on some of these shows. But your message of HOPE remains the same and needs to be heard by ALL who walk this earth - including those whom you would never endorse or promote in your private life. Maverick is doing great with his speech. So many boys don’t find it necessary to talk at his age. It’s cute now but when he is four or five and ask you why To everything you say, you will eventually say because I said so. And then It will take you right back to your parents. God bless the Smiths.

Hello 👋🏻 new subscriber here. I’m reading your book now and I can’t even tell you how much it’s helping me. I lost my husband one morning unexpectedly and I couldn’t turn him over to give him cpr. They got a pulse back in the ambulance and he was in the hospital for a couple of days before they said he was brain dead and we had to pull the plug. He was my best friend,my husband,the father of my children we were married at 17 and 18 married for 43 years and I was lost. Your book is making me realize that I’m not alone in the feelings that I had thank you and God bless!

Granger I have a copy of what used to hang in the office of Liberty University. Back in the 70's I used to watch the church services. It is called Anyway! Unfortunately there have been changes since the beginning. Will say this I am happy that you were invited there to speak. Had a blast watching Maverick as remind me of playing in the rain. So happy for y'all to get some rain. Enjoyed watching. Sending much Love to the Smith's.
I went to Liberty in the 80s. Im confused. Was he saying he didnt agree with everything there?
I cant believe how the music has changed. Thomas rd used to have the best music program. I sure miss the older days.
My aunt died at the end of Feb of last year, and then I mourned the loss of my friend Linda, and then my uncle. I remember when Granger announced that he had a book coming out on August 1, I remember thinking I need this book right now, as I was grieving so badly. I listened to the book for free on barns and noble eBook ap. when I listened to Like A River my grieving pain from 2023 it was set free. when I met Granger Smith, he stopped the slideshow I had in my mind of my parents' death. Granger gave me 5 more minutes. I hope someday I can thank him for everything he has done. his music, sermons, and his book has helped me recover from my mental health.

Hi Amber! You were wondering what we would like to see in the women’s YeeYee clothing line…I would love to see more Womens tees with pretty “girly” colors like the light blue one that was just released. It sold out so fast, I couldn’t get it into my cart! So more colors like turquoise, aqua, lilac, plum, and spring green would be awesome additions, especially for the spring line. Granger, feed your plants some cold coffee. They will love it. I would guess you would let us know if it was something you were backing. I had surgery a few weeks ago. I brought my book to the hospital and to the rehabilitation center. I’m hoping several will read your book. They all wanted to know all about it.

Me too. Seems like ages since we have seen the entire family. I really miss the original Smiths. They told us at first they were continuing the Smiths but I guess they changed their minds.
I am sure as London and Lincoln get older, they are busier with friends and sports, etc., and possibly they just don't want to be on camera with Mom and Dad all the time. That's normal for their ages. Granger and Amber aren't going to make them do it if they don't want to just so their TH-cam channel looks the way you think it should.

Mr Granger Smith, please continue both your musical and Message God given talents. I was on stage at 10 years old, playing drums. At 36 I had to stop. The leeches (agents) were my end. I had to make a decision, to stay or hit the road, it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. I wish and Pray for you and your Family.
