Thanks, glad to see someone getting some use out of my ideas. One thing I did NOT mention in this video, because I only came up with it the next day: when you pull that rivet out of the socket (to get the little bracket off) replace it with a machine screw, (size 6-32 x 1/2") you will NOT need the nuts that come with the screws, because it fits the hole just perfect to thread itself nicely into the plastic, and the 1/2" length puts the end just flush with the other side. If for any reason you want to take the socket apart later, you can unscrew it, and screw it back in again.
