- Its only December and I’m already sick of this dark, cold, bloody winter !
So I thought I’d look for some Christmas sunshine to cheer me up and get me through to next spring when camper van season starts again haha ...

The people from the Caribbean always seem so happy, they never stop singing & dancing haha, and they don't have a lot ( apart from living in paradise like haha ) there cars and homes are pretty run down, I really like them ...

Hi Jimmy, great minds think alike lol I done the same as you. Went on my first cruise (as a solo traveller) on the sister ship to the Arvia the Iona, I think it’s the same layout but I year older. As soon as I seen you on the bed I knew (same decor).
Iona went to Spain/Portugal for 14 night (25/11 to 9/12) but leaving from Southampton, enjoyed it but for the last few days loads of people got the gastro bug so toilets flushing all night lol I was ok but I did stay away from everyone for the last day or two because of the 5 hour trip back to Liverpool, didn’t want to catch anything then look for toilets every half hour or cr@p in my car.
I thought going solo would have been rubbish but I quite liked it, talk to people as and when I wanted and do what I wanted when I wanted too. The weather wasn’t bad either until we got back, pissing down and blowing a storm at Southampton.
Defo go on one again it’s a nice little getaway.
Looking forward to the next few videos of your trip. Did you take the mrs or go solo ? Hope you had a great time matey.

Hi John, great to hear from you, happy New year to you and yours.. what a coincidence, as you say great minds ... Great ships ! But as you also say lots of people in close proximity and a lot of them coughing, this video was meant to be out on Christmas Day but I've been rough since coming home. Ah, I'm single AGAIN ... me & Deb split over a year ago now.

Yeah Iona had about 5200 passengers and over 1000 crew so if someone gets anything it goes around like wildfire.
