Whats the string spacing on the 5 string P std model ? Everything looks great. I have a SUPER P on order
I think it’s 18mm. It Feels great though
love the lolipop tuners on the SP1
Personally, I prefer the Y tuners, but I understand the decision of going for the lollipops

Thanks for the video, wish I could have been there. Had the pleasure of meeting Sheldon this year and he gave me some nice ideas about putting together a fretless. Now a have 2 customs on order 😹 That wait time is SO brutal.

@@IvanBassist I'm totally sure it is 😸 Would not have done that if I wasn't sure of that! They make really beautiful instruments and I love their approach. Can't wait for the first one to arrive in a couple of months 🎉
I like the idea of the Fast Lane, I'm just not wild about that lower horn. Looks like it's coming off at the wrong angle.
Its going to suck to finally be able to afford a Dingwall one day and then still have to wait 3 years for it to be made

Imports will only be PJs if I understood correctly. You can order both a P only or PJ for the Canadian models, though

Those basses always look awesome, but there's something with the look of the pickups that puts me off.

I just wonder whether the SP1 is going to be similar quality to the super P. I was thinkig about whether ordering a canadian version or wait for this factory built SP1.
The SP1s that I tried felt great. Definitely the way to if you don’t want to wait too long for the canadian models and also much cheaper, too

Will the import PJ come in different finishes?
Yes. Not sure which ones will be available, though. I think John Fox bass has them listed on his website
