wow, the flight movement on the phoenix is just gorgeous! A lot of people make the mistake of the wings doing simple up and down motions, and those feathers are just gorgeously crafted

Yes I know!!! I hate it when people turn wings into some kind of rigid flaps in artistic representations. They're much more like arms!!
Amazing. Nice work! Technical tip: no sound is a disservice. Doesn’t need music or narration but just some ambient room tone, natural outdoor sound, even low level. No sound actually detracts/distracts.
I was very confused the whole time I thought it was muted
I found myself really wanting to hear the sounds the puppets make
If there was music/soundtrack to it, it is possible that TH-cam muted it due to a supposed copyright claim, or there was an issue uploading, which stripped the audio.
Honestly, I think a real velociraptor would move exactly the way like the puppet in this video, congratulations on the work, all the puppets are very beautiful!

Ok, but the puppeteering for the sparrow though!! The shifting of the wings, the way the wings themselves moved? So cool! And the phoenix made me think of Faux from HP!!

These are all marvelous feats of engineering and beauty, but something about the pure simplicity of the little sparrow is especially captivating. It really lets you appreciate it for what it is: a puppet. The use of different material in order to create the desired movement being on full display is awesome. Bird puppets are like, the single best thing in the world to me. So glad this was in my recommended.
Also: the legs and talons on the Pheonix have me awestruck. They simulate the landing amazingly. I liked how all the feet were weighted for movement, but the pheonix especially. WOW!
This is awe-inspiring! If the puppet festival collaborated with foley artists I'm sure it would be absolutely breathtaking.

The entire time I was watching this I was forgetting that these are *puppets* and not animatronics or something. Puppets, made with absolute precision and care, being used by real humans. The movement of them is so lifelike I kinda forgot they were fake 😅
And the feathers of the birds and the velociraptor are just… ✨magnificent✨

The attention to movement on these was captivating--so many little details that I notice in my own (live, pet) bird painstakingly replicated by the artist! The preening of the feathers and the way the wings are put together, the peculiar and adorable way that birds hop on the ground, and especially the little wing starts when they are standing and move their head suddenly--like they're about to take off again but don't. The flight differences between them were also so cool; the dragon's more upright posture when flying and hovering causing it to bob a bit as its wings cup the air, vs the birds' gliding... Magnificent!

It was so interesting see the little sparrow, the bare components of it were fascinating. The expansion stitches on the wings to hold the flight feathers together in formation, so clever. Thank you for sharing your beautiful creature creations

Beautiful. I love puppets. I have all my life . Since I saw a puppet show at a birthday party, then I started by making puppets with spoons and popsicle sticks and others junk so I could entertain and make my baby brother laugh. Then I was a babysitter. And then a mother . Bought my daughter's first puppet at our towns river days. It was the goofy , colorful feather bird. I also turned into a clown . I have a nose. I blow bubbles,I can draw ,and I make balloon animals. I love to make people laugh. Especially if they start out angry or sad . That's what I was made for to channel light and truth and healing. I am old now , though I am getting ready to take a different journey. So glad to see the new wonderous creative stars. They are the ones to lead people to the New Demention of light and truth. And ☀️🌻🦋
