Hello, I have fynn built up also, if you want to stay relevant even multiple board wipes and be a real thorn you can also look into equipments like: Pathway Arrows, Viridian Longbow, and Thornbite Staff. making your death touchers into pingers, usually gets people to leave you alone unless they want to lose their best creature. It makes all your death touchers, even your 1/1s pretty annoying. Dolmen Gate is a CMC card too that's pretty relevant. If you have 1 or a couple of infect to blend in with your death touchers, Primal Bellow will 1 shot the opponent. Key to the City, is a nice way to make one of your creatures unblockable also and nice way to draw cards. Can be a nice political card too. Making someone else's creature unblockable.
i made a fynn deck and used it once to test it with my friends and then felt bad cuz they just couldnt do anything about it. i took a different strat for it so in addition to making them unblockable i had trample and the main thing was proliferating, so i only needed to get one or two hits on each person, which is easy cuz fynn is so cheap i could get him out early, and then just sit back and proliferate everyone to death. havent played it since but it was very interesting to see how it worked, certainly not an average deck
Love the Death Touch!! This looks like a fun deck to play. Questions Is there a substitute for Blightsteel Colossus, besides a proxy? Buying that one hurts the wallet :(
You could use Grafted Exoskeleton ($4.66) with either Triplicate Titan ($0.61), Phyrexian Triniform ($2.21) or Ancient Stone Idol ($4.50). Sure, they aren't Indestructible, but they will be a lot easier on the wallet. Prices are from Scryfall as of today (August 25 2022)! -Kat
