If you are visiting Western Nc this is a place to go. This route is great with family and friends. Plenty of sites to visit and relax for a few days or just a day camp.
I drove this awesome road two days ago and simply loved it. I saw at one campsite someone drove a current gen Toyota Yaris through there, easier with a 4wd however a two wheeler can do it as well.

Oh yeah. There has been plenty of 2wd vehicles coming through. You are right 4wd in some spots makes it easier

Thanks for taking us along. ✌️
Stay tuned for more! 🙏
Great Video!! Keep them coming!
Nice shot of Pilot Mt.
Pilot Mt? Pretty certain you’re seeing Linville Gorge, table rock and hawksbill. Mt Pilot isn’t anywhere near this area.
Thanks for sharing. That view at the end is spectacular! Is this road trip OK with a Subaru Forester?
Your vehicle should not have any issues. There were a few Subarus.
I've seen mini coopers up there. You'll be fine
Any more good trails in NC I can take a Winnebago Revel on and boondock along the way?
There are a few others I have heard of but have not been there to recommend.
I've seen lowered Hondas and Subarus on Old 105. Hardly a road you need to air down for.
I totally agree with you. Only when you have kids and family with you to make it more comfortable for them.
