      @@fiskersproductions you would have to build it. You could get PV 14s for under one grand but you would have to build it instead of these I’d rather just do GEN three digital PVS 69. They are digital but there’s zero latency so far the only issues when you’re in the complete dark in the woods there is a little bit of blur and if you don’t have a laser or something, you won’t be able to shoot very well but it’s possible. Major things clarity if they get clarity fixed it’ll be just as good as PV 14. Main thing is it’s bridge and there 700 bucks.

    • @baconatoromg6062

      @BetterSafeThenSorry_ digital has latency and will take more time to catch up to pvs14s. Pvs69s are maybe 50% as good on the best of nights and completely useless when it's dark or overcast. Also I want to see where you're getting gen 3 pvs14 tubes for sub $1000 lmao

  • @TruthPrevails24
    @TruthPrevails24 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    i ca just build pvs 69s for 700 bridge, there digital but gen 3, no lag, worst issue rn is no moon in woods there not very usable, you can walk and shoot but its harder to shoot. but 700? to 2k for monocular pvs14? or 6k for bridge? count me in. im not delta force. i just need to get the job done when its time

      @@baconatoromg6062 this is what happens when you think you know everything, 0 latency buddy, research pvs69s lmao. they use drone FPV camera not pvs 14 tubes, i never said anything about -1000 tubes, quit taking meth. i said 2k for monocular pvs14. learn what pvs69s are before acting, like you do, and yes gen 3 lol. can see 100% with quarter moon in forest, is that more gen 2 to you ? idiot, doesnt have IR at all either. thats the main downfall where most nvg have built in IR, these dont since theres a camera. you may with the circuit board controller but its a tiny keyboard the size of a toenail easy to loose if you keep it on you. again i am not special forces conducting mission. ill be using it to scout my property, ruck at night, shoot at nigh, train with a decent pair cause it takes months to get used to it. and etc, when i need them to sneak up on guys... il be getting a set for free. tired of people gatekeeping NVG when you can build you own for cheap even with L3 tubes. 3500 for brifge gen 3 WP... instead of 6k for a mono. there working on thermal overlay too. so 1k with digital you have usable NVG and thermal. and drone thermals are very good (again they use drone cameras)

      @@Peterkass235 I’ll give it to you in saying that spec wise they look appealing, But the gain performances across the board on gen 3 kick so much ass they aren’t talked about. Sure a 2+ may have similar SNR but if it can’t bring the same intensity to the image what’s the point. Omni 7 are guaranteed to be hot hot with decent SNR minimum. Gen 3 all you really care about is SNR maybe EBI if you’re in a hot environment because your gain is guaranteed to be 50,60k. The halo values on the Omni 7 are also controlled really tight below .7 that’s bonkers halo value. I still think an Omni 7 smashes. Currently running l3 filmless with 36 snr a piece and a nuclear 70,000 gain

      @stirfry741 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Peterkass235 gain performance as in how hot the image gets. It def helps tremendously in low light snr is really only related to scintillation you need good gain and good SNR to get a clean hot image in low light environments. Chinese tubes help you see at night. They are more affordable. At the same time, American manufacturing techniques which are kept tight and behind closed doors produce a much better product. That’s just how it is. Like I’d rather buy a toyota over a Hyundai or a Nissan anyday. Just better. Maybe more money but hardly enough to matter when you’re spending so much to begin with. You either got it or you don’t. Def wouldn’t cut corners on china tubes when photonis is doing well. Elbit just became expensive I bet with the Contract being signed fledging them as big boys but they were an affordable available solution to not wanting to pay the government contract tax
