Hope they Win ARM will work out, thanks for sharing. Seeing M1 over the top results, really hoping windows will do the same. Issue in SnapDradon SX current gen processors are also an issue - not just the sw. Thanks for video, can see how this really performs.
Some friendly advice for improvement on your reviews. Incorporate software tests as well which the audience will find much more important especially pertaining to ARM offerings compared to just looking over the hardware. There are several software suites that you can get for testing that are very low cost or even free. This will help your audience understanding if this will work for the average workload in which this device is targeted for. I will subscribe since I like to support up and coming channels.
however the lack of USB ports is a showstopper. You can't even mount a flash disk! That's nonsense. They tried to be a Mac, forgetting that if they still have customers it's precisely because many people can't stand macs!
Thanks for discussing the physical aspects of this machine, but what about Windows software compatibility? How much of the huge Windows x86 software base will run on this laptop, and how is the performance? Thank you.
@@TechAdventure1 have you tried adding a usb c monitor while it's running on battery power? i'm wondering how much it will impact the battery life if you'll run an external monitor through single cable usb c.
Can you run a benchmark that stresses both CPU and GPU at the same time and look at what the CPU package power is of the device under load, and how it varies over time using something like hwinfo? Presumably it’s not fanless, would be good to see how well Lenovo has managed the cooling on this 5nm ARM device.
@@TechAdventure1 Prime95 with hwinfo in the background for CPU package power monitoring would be good for CPU only, for both at once I’m not sure…I used RPCS3 (PS3 emulator) but that won’t run on ARM. On my X1 Nano it would start at 28 watts before going as low as 11 watts after an extended period of time when stressing both CPU and GPU at once at 100%
@@TechAdventure1 I don't mean YOU personally. Can A person run Citrix and connect to their company's website? I mean is this compatible for remote work with the new chip?
please do battery test with wifi on, brightness 60% and 20 tab open on edge or chrome. One excel file, one ms word file open and ms team running in tbe background. Thank you
This would a be nice platform for Linux

Thanks. When I review it I’ll have more to share.

At last a laptop with not-too-large a touchpad, and with the 3 buttons! I'm impatient to see it working on Linux and it might be my next one!

It’s an unfortunate trend that even Dell follows. Yuck

As soon as Linux reliably runs on this thing, I'm ordering.
Any idea when that might be?
Can you run few games just to check gpu
could you please test the compatibility of obsidian and kindle desktop?

Which benchmark would be best?

I really want your update on X1 Carbon Gen10, it should now be much much better with the bios update
Heya I just installed the update. I’ll be able to test it during the week.
How about the price?
Is the keyboard on the x13 smaller than the x1 carbon?
Slightly yes
With this ARM chip, can you run Citrix and connect to your company's website remotely and work like regular windows?
Hey sorry I can’t do that

Ah I see. I don’t know the answer to your question.
