Misha did a table top of this last week and mentioned that you also had one for testing and would be talking about it in a week or so. Was just notified of this video and im pleased to learn its as well made as Misha says Radom FB AK's are.. Circle 11 has a great reputation in AK circles. Been wanting to get my first AK and I feel like this will be a higher value AK than the WASR. With WASR's going for $750 I feel like the additional 300 for a original lam wood chrome lined Circle 11 AK is as good as any stamped Bulgarian Arsenal AK.. Maybe even better. Some are bitching about the 960 dollars for the plum synthetic version your showing in this vid but I objectively think the Radom is worth the $200-250 premium over the WASR10. With Russia out of the game where can you find a stamped AK of Radom quality under a $1200-$1400 dollars. A CHF chrome lined IMI Galil will set you back $1600 and its arguable whether its better made than a Circle 11 Radom FB.
The rivets on my wz88 Polish Tantal from Atlantic Firearms were excellent. The job their builders did to make these rifles is very good, so I would expect the same for the FOX rifles. I decided to try one of their newest offerings, and went with the Romanian AIMS 74, had I looked a bit further down the list I probably would have gone with the WBP rifle. Next time.
I just might get the classic version of this with the old school wood furniture. I always wanted an old school AKM clone since all my other AKs have polymer furniture some with side folder stocks. The optic mounting points are low key enough for me for this to be a KISS rifle and retain the AKM look.
I may just get one of these. It's been a little while since I have purchased a new AK. I'll keep watching to see how this does but my guess is it will pass the test.
An ak is one of the few things I didn’t get before the ban in my state in 2013. Now I can only get ak pistol, unless I go nfa route. Good video, I enjoyed.
I assume you are from Maryland right? Go look at the Maryland State Police website about legal firearms. You can ironically still get AK rifles as long as they aren't in 7.62x39 so 5.56, 5.45, and .308 are still fair game.
Incredible video delivery as always Rob. Prices are kinda crazy @$979 for Atlantic's version of the private Poland companies product with no folder stock, but they look good. Against the CUGIR Romanian Combloc WASR & RH10's cold hammer forged AK's @ low $600's especially. The Sporter @ $699 from Arms of America is the best deal going for these. Fortunately these sporters are nothing like SAIGA's and most of the conversion is already done as it comes for $699 with a double stack surplus size bolt. Just gotta open up the magwell, thread the barrel, and replace the furniture, and ensure 922R is met.
Thanks Rob! Ive been looking at this rifle for the past week. I know the barrels on these are great but looking forward to your follow up vids to see how the rest of the rifle holds up. Thanks!
You may want to start using a Vernier caliper to measure distance between the bolt carrier and front trunnion, then as things progress, you can show the measurement text on screen between the earlier measurements and the newest ones (ex: 500rds., 1000rds., 1500rds., et cetera). The fun may still be healthy, yes; however, every mechanical object on this planet it still susceptible to entropy.
I have same proof marks on my spare bolt carrier. Seller told me that it is a war-time spare part from 60-70-ys. So probably not only barrel is from Radom factory.
Thanks for all you do Rob. I'm picking up one of the Plum ones like you have this week. I have the WBP Classic that Atlantic assembled and it's my favorite shooter so far, really wanna compare it against the Fox
These AKs look very promising; no imports ban...yet. replacement parts are available. Love VEPR's but they are front heavy; not well balanced. Looking forward to your review.
8:50 The hammer spring is one of those CV39 straight wire ones instead of the braided type. I've had those things bend on me on another rifle I was testing it on. I replaced the wire spring with a braided one.
@@kellyharbeson1948 (The usual bit about full disclosure: I don't know Rob personally, not getting any money from him, blah, blah, blah) Actually I got the ones that Rob was selling at his store. It makes it easier to insert into the receiver. The straight wire hammer springs I had gotten with an RAK-1 FCG kit bent on me as I was trying to put it in. SKI "" CANT WAIT TILL YOU TEST THAT VSKA!!!
Should start this week. Just need wether without rain (cameras don’t like rain at all).
I'll stick with my wasr
Right on.
Does it take glock mags?
still better off getting a MIGHTY WASR
Why?
@@AnontheGOAT simple, proven track record. But I'm sure the WBP will get a cult following of its own, in a few thousand rounds at the very least
Not to mention they're cheaper. And just as good. Well the shitty furniture that they come with is the only downfall of the WASR, but other than THAT, they are just as good.
@@hossman8499 the wasr doesn't have a chf barrel right?
@@AnontheGOAT it does have one.
Didnt know they made a unicorn edition. lol Looks good ( the ak not the unicorns)
Any plans to get the Beryl rail and test it out?
I love the stickers man
Does WBP have good enough quality control to be able to swap bolts and such?
Dobje Polska WBP
is it over gassed?
My man🤘🇺🇸☝️💪🏻
Rob what is that tape you put on the stock? I need some
Poland could teach Romania a thing or two about milling. Almost as clean as Bulgarian milling.
What sling is that?
God damn you're a good shot.
He's a U.S. Army sniper of course he is!!
Were the thumbs down given for the stickers or what?
Have to make it pretty so dems & libs don't feel threatened.
Fine lookin rifle
Finally!
I have a question. What does rob ski think about the century ak63ds?
I had one come through my shop and it was great.
Search here he did a video on it three years ago.
@@OriginalBongoliath that was the AK63d, that was using a milled receiver, this DS uses a stamped receiver
