Here’s something I haven’t seen anyone mention yet. If you’re out on patrol and running low on health packs look for ambulances with paramedics around them. There’s a good chance there will be a chest by them that will refill all your health packs!
When you advance in history there are more and more criminals in non-premeditated crimes that leave life kits, it is not necessary to go looking for ambulances. only solving a small crime can give you from two to 4 kits
The game isn't even bad. Or at least not as bad as some says, it's entertaining and fun but pales in comparison with a game like arkham knight the problem this game had was just that. He had to step to a game that's almost a masterpiece

I'm having a blast with it so far and it has so much varied content. Fantastic graphics with its own art style and direction. Loving the combat, it has enough variety and challenge for sure, especially if trying to basically never break your combo and look cool.

For fox as well as the boxes, you can wait until your level 30/40 and go into someone else’s world, doing their activities grant you current level rewards. I like to stand next to fox and spam crafting while collecting rewards. This is somewhat scummy but not if they aren’t lvl40 yet

People just need a villain, I guess and Saints Row 2022 was already dead, so GK got the ire. The game doesn't even have microtransactions! But yet people just complain, and complain, and complain. They don't know a good thing when it slaps them in face, just useless sheep.
i wasn't expecting much cuz of rewiews; tried this on game pass and yes ur right it looks and sounds amazing (i'm on series x) even teh dolby atmos is well executed in this and the combat and animations are very well done. the story is good enough to keep me interested and i'm a pretty hardcore batman enjoyer of both comics and films. i WISH arkham knight looked this good that would be sick to get graphcis like this in the arkham games
Can you get back the resources you lose by dying on patrol? Or, can you stash them at the Belfry? Seems like a harsh mechanic if no to both. Almost like you should always be crafting and spending the resources instead of saving.
You can't get them back from patrols I learned that the hard way and you can't stash at the belfry at all. I keep crafting and crafting but I still have over 10k in all the materials ? But it's not as grueling the amount you lose
If your on console you can quickly close the game before you respawn and it’s going to give you a second chance to do the Premeditated Crime again the autosave is handy
what you should not do in gotham knights, the first thing is do not play only with one character, go out every night with a different one and pay close attention to the missions that have to do with the story to see which one is best for that mission, second Don't advance too fast in the game. Getting to level 30 is very easy so take your time doing the crimes sometimes seem repetitive but you will see that they are not and they are more and more difficult and new criminals appear. most important complet objectives in the crimes ,I think it will not be mandatory to go to new game + it does not make sense to play the story twice to go up 17 levels
It’s nice that they put essentials a hardcore mode but would be better if this was optional cause some people do enjoy the idea of punishing themselves for messing up for some reason like the people who only play Diablo Hardcore characters.

I'm glad this game was on sale lol I'd planned on trying it despite the hate, but $70 is not what it's worth at all, 40 is just right, equivalent to 40 bucks of fun lol
This video made me order the game on PS5 as these excellent tips just made me want to play it and i was on the fence about it with all the bad reviews which means it will drop in price quickly but your 8min video i found it way more useful than any of the reviews out there as it was all about game play and it sounds great i even purchased the deluxe just for the starter gear since im going to save all those caches for level 30 :)
I didn’t notice it in the video but if you play bat girls I’m level 11 and have u locked 2 self revives which is really helpful as I was playing as robin and it’s getting harder now and if your not paying attention I died to a drone and freeze gun attack so I’m using her as main now while levelling up so I don’t loose any more mats

The hate for this game is reminding me of the dumping that Days Gone got which was a great game and one of my favorites of the PS4 generation. Your reviews convinced me to buy this game. Down loading it now hopefully I enjoy it!
So I know this is cheating but considering how grindy this game is. I feel it's justified. When you are out on patrol and doing one of the crime side quests. If you fail at doing for example stealth to a specific target or whatever then you can just quit the game and you'll spawn not that for away for another chance to still get the bonus. Sometimes added bonuses or different bonuses. Seems to be random after the first retry. Also the 4 seconds between u being down and respawn just quit and sure your health will be low and you will have used whatever health packs you have. But you don't lose any crafting material. Yes it's exploiting the game but even though it's not as great as the arkham games I'm having fun with it. While I would like to continue liking it and not be frustrated by losing extremely rare material there isn't any real way to farm as far as I can tell. It would be one thing if I could grind them. But it seeming to be a set amount for some of them. I don't want to risk losing them since I paid for deluxe edition.
I can't wait to start playing this game but I swear I get so confused with RPG games. I'm terrible at builds, and maxing out gear! lol I pray they come out with a mode like Breakpoint did to turn gear off lol
I’m the same, I get so bored ‘levelling up’ and looking for loot to do so. I’m not about the fun and story and doing missions to get these not go looking etc I get bored easily. Enjoying it so far but only Had a mad hour on it so need more time. God of war is out soon so if I get bored least I’ll have that haha
Great content! Just started the game last night, but started to run out of time to play... Is it smart not to end nights until completing all 10 crimes? I had to look up how to save without ending night's and seems that after any fight when the save icon appears you should be good... Hopefully that's the truth. I'll know tonight lol.

I got a blueprint and crafted it at level 9 for example. Is it possible to recraft it later at level 20? So that the same suit remains main and with the ability to modify its parts? If I don't want to use a transmog, but rather use a certain costume to the end but with increased stats - is it possible? Or is it inevitable? Maybe it's worth holding the blueprint with favorite suit and craft it at the high levels? Or does each costume have its own level and it doesn't matter when you craft it? I would be grateful for an answer! Thanks in advance!

Ive had the game today - it plays FINE and my TV is 5 years old so if yours is newer, it'll play great. Photo Mode is excellent btw, got some cool action photos with Red Hood as he's my first character, wanted something that would kick ass with good heavy and ranged moves. Just got back to the belfry from the very first investigation, going to play it later for a couple of hours.
What is the point to raising your hero's power level? Does it give you better loot while on patrol? Also, i feel a little conflicted with Crime rewards. I wanna save all the Hostages or Cops, but it sucks when i only get a common schematic.

This game is very different from batman games I did the mob missions an all the freaks an didn't make the bomb on the last freaks mission so it disappeared off the map I Decided to go back to my hideout an went back on the street an had to do everything again I thought it would of saved the missions I did is there any manual save
I’m having a problem! So I was level 29 when I finished and started game Plus! I’m now level 40 and still have 2 skills in my oracle tree (each costing 2 points). But I can’t get anymore skill point’s because I’ve reached the max level! I just simply can’t continue in my skill tree!
I was about to do clayface mission 1.3 my game had an error that's fine it happens next thing you know my data got corrupted as a level 27 with main mission 4.1 to a level 3 with main mission 1.3 I'm so mad. That I have to do it all again and what sucks is that level cuz I was on it most of the time then played a different game so my saved data should have been deleted by a little bit.

The structure of this game is absolutely abysmal 🤦🏻♂️ It needed to literally just follow basic standard Open World game design and completely do away with the whole “start night” and Belfry “end night” system. Totally useless. Even if they use that as a convenient way to level the world around you, it bogs down and muddles the freedom of the game SO much. They should have literally just made every mission and instance scale to your level as you trigger them. Nothing else. And the Belfry could just be your home base and not have this start end night system. This would have made the game so much better.
I believe so, I crafted a knight ops suit and didn't get it as the transmog, I think the only transmogs you grt from crafting are titan, year one, privateer,eternal,metal,,noir, the rest you'll unlock through out the game. This was 13 days ago but you've probably completed it and figured it out by now😅
No its not. The game is fine. Its decent, and only Rocksteady fanboys are bitching, when *ROCKSTEADY DIDNT MAKE GOTHAM KNIGHTS!* And if you aren't thinking about Rocksteady, then you had too high, unfair expectations for a dev team of *ROOKIES.* Seriously, WB Games Montreal made Arkham Origins & Gotham Knights. Thats it, just 2 games, and they had help on the first one. So Gotham Knights is certainly a good solo start for rookies. Things couldve ACTUALLY been bad real fast. The shitty 8th Gen ports couldve never been cancelled & affected the 9th Gen versions. GK couldve been a Live Service game. There couldve been enemy scaling like in most RPGs(ones that force it, anyway). It couldve been in the position that Pokemon Scarlet & Violet are in right now. Yet somehow, a rookie team avoided all of that.
Does the RPG elements affect the game too much? Like are u limited to defeat certain enemies or to play certain missions due to leveling system? And also do we get suits randomly and in pieces as loot? Or are they unlocked in missions or activities?
So I've only played about five hours and I'm still very early in the story, but from what I can tell it's not like you can't deafeat enemies that are a higher level than you. They will just have more health and deal more damage to you, making the fights harder, but definitely possible. You don't get random pieces of armor in chests from my experience. They alway contain only crafting materials, and although I'm not 100% sure on that, it seems that certain materials are connected to certain suit styles you can then craft with those materials. The suit styles themselves then come with different costumization options. Plus, some suits are unlocked via missions I think.

Yes it is correct, the auto save disc logo comes up after a completed fight/task/mission

Grab Batman chest on new game plus lvl 40 is max level. Be careful. Use beyond suit for xp buff and just keep modding it.
Question, how do you get the different outfits for the Belfry? For example for Barbara has the jeans how can I get the different look?
Would you say its best to run through the story as quick as possible to unlock new game plus?

What is the point to raising your hero's power level? Does it give you better loot while on patrol?
Also, i feel a little conflicted with Crime rewards. I wanna save all the Hostages or Cops, but it sucks when i only get a common schematic.
I have a hard time feeling motivated to save the cops from the gangs in this game because the cops treat the bat family like garbage. I miss Jim

This game is very different from batman games I did the mob missions an all the freaks an didn't make the bomb on the last freaks mission so it disappeared off the map I Decided to go back to my hideout an went back on the street an had to do everything again I thought it would of saved the missions I did is there any manual save

I’m having a problem! So I was level 29 when I finished and started game Plus! I’m now level 40 and still have 2 skills in my oracle tree (each costing 2 points). But I can’t get anymore skill point’s because I’ve reached the max level! I just simply can’t continue in my skill tree!

I was about to do clayface mission 1.3 my game had an error that's fine it happens next thing you know my data got corrupted as a level 27 with main mission 4.1 to a level 3 with main mission 1.3 I'm so mad. That I have to do it all again and what sucks is that level cuz I was on it most of the time then played a different game so my saved data should have been deleted by a little bit.

The structure of this game is absolutely abysmal 🤦🏻♂️
It needed to literally just follow basic standard Open World game design and completely do away with the whole “start night” and Belfry “end night” system. Totally useless.
Even if they use that as a convenient way to level the world around you, it bogs down and muddles the freedom of the game SO much.
They should have literally just made every mission and instance scale to your level as you trigger them. Nothing else. And the Belfry could just be your home base and not have this start end night system.
This would have made the game so much better.

I believe so, I crafted a knight ops suit and didn't get it as the transmog, I think the only transmogs you grt from crafting are titan, year one, privateer,eternal,metal,,noir, the rest you'll unlock through out the game. This was 13 days ago but you've probably completed it and figured it out by now😅

No its not. The game is fine. Its decent, and only Rocksteady fanboys are bitching, when *ROCKSTEADY DIDNT MAKE GOTHAM KNIGHTS!*

Seriously, WB Games Montreal made Arkham Origins & Gotham Knights. Thats it, just 2 games, and they had help on the first one.
So Gotham Knights is certainly a good solo start for rookies. Things couldve ACTUALLY been bad real fast. The shitty 8th Gen ports couldve never been cancelled & affected the 9th Gen versions. GK couldve been a Live Service game. There couldve been enemy scaling like in most RPGs(ones that force it, anyway). It couldve been in the position that Pokemon Scarlet & Violet are in right now.
Yet somehow, a rookie team avoided all of that.
Does the RPG elements affect the game too much? Like are u limited to defeat certain enemies or to play certain missions due to leveling system? And also do we get suits randomly and in pieces as loot? Or are they unlocked in missions or activities?
So I've only played about five hours and I'm still very early in the story, but from what I can tell it's not like you can't deafeat enemies that are a higher level than you. They will just have more health and deal more damage to you, making the fights harder, but definitely possible.
You don't get random pieces of armor in chests from my experience. They alway contain only crafting materials, and although I'm not 100% sure on that, it seems that certain materials are connected to certain suit styles you can then craft with those materials. The suit styles themselves then come with different costumization options. Plus, some suits are unlocked via missions I think.
