Yall swear by mitch. He only contributes on the defensive end. And thats against team with an interior presence. He has blocked some 3's but his perimeter game is suspect. He cant recover once he tries to cheat inside. Offensively he fumbles too many passes. Still hasnt developed any post moves or shots. I Hart had a bad series. He also got hurt. Yall forget he fell and hurt is arm. Never took contact the same after that. I like Mitch but with his injuries and limitations offensively he should be the backup

I look at OGs contract as Donovan Mitchell money that never transpired. I really want the Knicks to draft well at 24, 25, & 38. Draft for young potential starters to develop. We have enough role paying defenders. We can't wait for the next all-star to request a trade and deal with the draft picks we have.

Regarding Hartenstein resigning, I believe Knicks can offer 72m+ over 4years, but can also add easy to reach incentives which would add another 10m+ to the deal, thus averaging over 20.5m per year by simply re-signing with the Knicks. So the question for me is two-fold, 1) is another team really gonna offer him like 25m/yr? & if so 2) Would that amount really be enough for him to leave at this point? I hope he loves the Orange & Blue as much as all us fans love him, and that he would be willing to make such a sacrifice; but tbh, its hard not to see staying as the wiser choice for his career as well. The Knicks are looking to make the last move right now towards assembling their championship contender of the foreseeable future, & they obviously want IHart along for that ride as a core piece. Mitchell Robinson can give you minutes but he’s not lasting 50 games. Porzingis has played more games than Mitch over the last 4 seasons. Drummond is a worst case scenario. Randle has no market value to upgrade. That’s fine.

When healthy, Mitch offers considerable offensive rebounding--second chance shots--best in the league prior to his injury.
I agree and Mitch only dominates mediocre bigs. He has no smoke for Embiid, Jokic or even Bam. He needs to ride the pine or find a new team.

@@WHG369 I hear ya and he still won us the 76ers series playing injured like that against Embiid who was cookin IHart...... IHart got cooked against the pacers too, he's just to physically small against the elite bigs
@@ElectrikNYCfunK there aren't that many elite bigs. Boston doesn't have one , the cavs don't, miami doesn't. 2 teams yes mitch can come off the bench . Other than that I Hart is the better starter overall
