Dude I definitely considered doing one for black clover because it would make such a perfect fit for the style! If they come out with an omnibus of some kind i would definitely turn into a grimoire if they don’t do it already. Add some clover decorations too ugh would be sooo cool to do 😫

It's so refreshing to see someone treat manga with respect enough to give it a proper appearance, this really makes me want to try this on some series of my own. I only wish more publishers would offer the "Berserk Deluxe" quality and aesthetic. but you've shown that it's attainable to make it happen regardless - bravo and enjoy! P.S. an addition of a green silk page marker would be fireeeee

It would be dope if you etch a symbol into the cover or some sort of simple design like the Berserk deluxes. You could use a stencil for a scout symbol or something. Just an idea because I think it would be cool.
I definitely still need to add decorations but I judt need to get the tools for what I have planned. Stencil artwork is for sure a consideration! I’ve been thinking about what would be a good symbol for AoT
Will you be doing any lettering on it? It's already really impressive on its own so some text on it would complete the look. Or would you rather keep the minimalistic look?
I definitely plan to add decorations and lettering once I get my hands on some tools! It looks okay plain right now but I personally would love to see some decorative ornaments and stuff on the cover. Hopefully soon!
I’ve never read Attack On Titan, but this was really well done. The only thing that’s missing is the gold gilded pages and foil stamping of the logo on the cover and spine.
The fact that this series only has hardcover in German in crazy I feel like we’ll know series should get hardcover hell I recently got into anime and so far the only manga I have collected in hardcover is blade of the immortal berserk might be my next buy

Honestly I say just go for it, I had very little practice and it came out decent. I did make some fatal mistakes though, but I’m not too worried about them!

It was pretty difficult and I ended up having to just “go for it” as my first time. Sadly I made a lot of mistakes (like cutting the leather too short in some places and a whole ton of other mistakes). I’m lucky the mistakes didn’t affect the overall appearance. But tbh it was hard but thankfully not as hard as I was expecting it to be. It’s definitely worth the try!

Yeah I would need to buy finishing tools to decorate and letter the cover but it costs like thousands of dollars. I definitely plan to do it once I buy some though for sure! There’s also laser etching the cover but it looks so trashy that way, I wanna do it the traditional way!
@@Weeabruh Yeah there are cheaper and more expensive ways for sure. I don't think you need spend thousands of dollars though. In worst case you can just print a cover and glue it of course that's the cheap and easy way around... Actually cut it aka carve it make it a part of the cover is more complicated...
