I use to make these a long LONG time ago lol, but back then you could go to a mall and find a candle store ( all the malls ha a wicks and sticks store ) they sold the plastic holders and wicks in little boxes. I absolutely loved them but this was the actual reason why they were banned, there were quite a few people and homes burned due to the candle getting knocked over accidentally causing the oil to quickly spread and the lit wick ignited the oil. So here's my tip PLEASE INCLUDE THIS WARNING never put the lit candle where it can be turned or knocked over. Thank you for your great crafting channel.

Buna ziua. LA MULTI ANI! Un an nou cu bucurii si impliniri. Pentru fitil la candela eu folosesc fir gros de bumbac de la gheme pt.ambalaj care se gaseste in papetarile din Romania. Am cumparat de la o manastire fitil pt.candela care era un fir de 20 cm identic cu firul atei de impachetat. Am probat si folosesc permanent la candela. Aceste gheme sunt pe grosimi, luati mai gros este mai bun. Va felicit ca pastrati credinta stramoseasca si tineti candela aprinsa. Ingerul pazitor ne vegheaza langa candela aprinsa. 🙏🙏🙏

Octavian infinita e doar o forma de a spune... putand completa uleiul dupa ce se mai consuma, pt o durata mai lunga poti pune un fir de bumbac sau cel mai bine fitil de la o alta lumanare ( farami putin o lumanare si tai fitil de la ea, sigur dureaza mai mult decat hartia)! Sper sa iti fie de folos!
Așa m-am gândit și eu: trebuie schimbat cam des fitilul! Știu de la candela pe care o am. Era numai cu ulei. Ieșea și fum, scădea foarte repede uleiul și se consumă repede și fitilul roz-ciclam, (luate de la mănăstirea Pissiota). Când am citit aici că este infinită (8), am făcut ochii mari 😳. Zic: fac și eu, că am găsit flori de plastic in casă, pietricele curate și de aceeași mărime, frunzulițe, etc..... Foarte frumoasa ideea. Dar cred că trebuie schimbat cam des fitilul, după cum am citit in mesaje! Dar,...👍😍, e super frumos și creativ! Felicitări!

You could try this with clothes instead of tissue paper. Roll hard and make sure the rolled clothe fits tight. Then You won’t need to change it for more than a month. When I was a kid, my grandma used to make it for loadshedding.

I always place candles in a large bowl of water in my empty kitchen sink to prevent fires.
I am amazed that the plastic bottle and cooking oil don't catch fire! How long can you safely burn the candle for? It looks very pretty!

Multumesc, nu se topeste, dar daca iti este teama poti pune in loc de plastic o felie de la dopul de pluta sau poti pune intre plastic si fitil o bucata mica de metal usor ( cum este cel de la doza de suc) in care poti da gaura sau varianta mai usoara lumanarile mici rotunde au acel metal in partea de jos in care se pune fitilul! Buna ziua. LA MULTI ANI! Un an nou cu bucurii si impliniri. Pentru fitil la candela eu folosesc fir gros de bumbac de la gheme pt.ambalaj care se gaseste in papetarile din Romania. Am cumparat de la o manastire fitil pt.candela care era un fir de 20 cm identic cu firul atei de impachetat. Am probat si folosesc permanent la candela. Aceste gheme sunt pe grosimi, luati mai gros este mai bun. Va felicit ca pastrati credinta stramoseasca si tineti candela aprinsa. Ingerul pazitor ne vegheaza langa candela aprinsa. 🙏🙏🙏

Dragă Ella,am făcut candele,dar au ars doar câteva ore.Am respectat,metoda de a nu atinge de apă,mica făclie de șervețel.A ars frumos câteva ore apoi s-a stins
Octavian infinita e doar o forma de a spune... putand completa uleiul dupa ce se mai consuma, pt o durata mai lunga poti pune un fir de bumbac sau cel mai bine fitil de la o alta lumanare ( farami putin o lumanare si tai fitil de la ea, sigur dureaza mai mult decat hartia)! Sper sa iti fie de folos!
Așa m-am gândit și eu: trebuie schimbat cam des fitilul! Știu de la candela pe care o am. Era numai cu ulei. Ieșea și fum, scădea foarte repede uleiul și se consumă repede și fitilul roz-ciclam, (luate de la mănăstirea Pissiota). Când am citit aici că este infinită (8), am făcut ochii mari 😳. Zic: fac și eu, că am găsit flori de plastic in casă, pietricele curate și de aceeași mărime, frunzulițe, etc..... Foarte frumoasa ideea. Dar cred că trebuie schimbat cam des fitilul, după cum am citit in mesaje! Dar,...👍😍, e super frumos și creativ! Felicitări!
@@genicagrigore2558 Fum scoate foarte putin doar cand o aprindeti....se vede in video, o aprind in direct, nu o arat direct aprinsa! Fitilul de bumbac sau de candela cumparat dureaza destul de mult....acum depinde si cat de des o folosim si cate ore o tinem continuu aprinsa! Multumesc frumos pentru apreciere! O seara frumoasa! 🤗💖😘

You could try this with clothes instead of tissue paper. Roll hard and make sure the rolled clothe fits tight.
Then You won’t need to change it for more than a month. When I was a kid, my grandma used to make it for loadshedding.

Nu multa lumea avea curent electric in ani 64 asa ca mama mea facea asta sa lumineze incaperea cand se termina petrolul din lampa insa punea into farfurie si fitilul era din ata de canepa iar suportul de sustinere ,era o felie de cartof ,amintiri de cand eram mic va multumesc de acest clip....

Thanks! It burns for a long time, the wick can be changed, the oil can be filled after the quantity decreases! For a longer period of burning the wick you can put a cotton thread or candle wick! It emits a little smoke at first when you turn it on ..... you can see in the tutorial that it does not emit smoke!

Thanks, I'm glad! I do not know...! For a long burning time you can put a cotton thread or a candle wick in the wick! You can put a light metal cap or you can put a small piece of metal between plastic and wick! 😘💖🤗

Da, asa foloseau si bunicii numai ulei! Aici apa are rolul pentru a fi si decorativa! Infinit este o forma dea spune....uleiul se poate completa! Daca o luam asa ....nici Coloana Infinita a lui Constantin Brancusi nu este infinita...o vedem unde se termina.....! 😀😉 O zi frumoasa Madalina!
