A pair of blue striped pipefish or Jans's pipefish would be beautiful and peaceful, and they are good enough swimmers to handle the amount of water flow you have. They are great for the shallow lagoon/tidal feel you're creating. Also some T. crocea clams would be beautiful and not outgrow the depth of your tank. As far as using water clarifier, your filter feeders might appreciate if you left the algae and detritus floating around a bit longer. Tunicates and sponges can process an incredible amount of water for their size and I think they would probably do a fine job of cleaning up the water on their own. Same goes for the filter floss in the surface skimmer, most of your filter feeders will appreciate the microorganisms in the biofilm as it gets introduced into the water. I'm loving this paludarium and am so excited to follow along as it matures. Your previous shallow 40 was one of my favorites, too. Much love from Texas!
Did you ever find the pistol shrimp? Do you plan on removing it? I'd love to see more on the pistol shrimp you said hitchhiked to your tank! They're fascinating.
I really like your channel, if i may give a suggestion. Give certain solo life forms or groups names. Giving the story of your environment protagonist.
Altijd een genot om naar de video's te kijken. Twee vragen: 1. Wat is je voedingsregime: voeding type/merk en wanneer? 2. Waar worden de dieren besteld? Mvg
The aquarium is certainly missing some action. Maybe you need to add some fish. I like to recommend red or purple Firefish, Chromis, and Damselfish (though some species can be aggressive, but Azure and Talbots are peaceful and will look great in your aquarium). It would also be nice to see the symbiotic relationship between shrimp and Goby fish.
I feed my fish a rotation of frozen brine frozen mysis and pods with occasional pellets. Upgrading to a 38 peninsula this month from my 13.5 cant wait.
More than likely it was the heat from the light that killed the sensitive plant. The spectrum shouldn't be too much of any issue. Those plants are pretty tough otherwise.
Oh wow. No filter? Is it because your tank is so big and you have a lot of filter feeders that you can do that? That is so cool. ❤ I would love to have a reef tank one day. I want to start small though first. Any suggestions for someone who wants to start?
Il Your aquarium looked beautiful even before the maintenance! I wanted to ask you What fish do you think you will include in the future? I hope you continue Making videos about your paludarium 😊
aren't you worried the mangrove trees are going to do their thing and grow? there's always the terrifying chance they'll grow in that small space and crack the glass. i would worry about waking up one morning a few years down the line to find that $30k+ tank exploded on the floor. it's years away but things like that can sneak up on you!! please be careful, that would be heartbreaking! also, how are you sure none of them will jump? especially if there's a little bit of infighting or a small turf war between two fish. they can jump right out if they're startled or agitated for even a split second and don't know what to do with themselves. it's horrible to have happen, especially overnight
Mach eine schnellkuplung auf dem Schlauch zu Pumpe dann kannst es schneller abmontieren zum reinigen . Kosten paar Euro und machen alles stressfreier .
@ With a sump, you get several advantages that make managing a large system like yours much easier and more efficient. First, it increases the overall water volume, which helps stabilize water parameters and keeps the tank ecosystem healthier. You also gain more space for biological filtration, which is essential for supporting the bio-load in a large reef setup. Additionally, a sump provides an area to add equipment like protein skimmers, heaters, and reactors without cluttering the main display, so it keeps the tank looking cleaner. I noticed you’re using one of those tiny surface skimmers, I’ve used the same one, and it gets annoying to constantly clean. Plus, it’s not very efficient over time. With water draining down into a sump, the system handles skimming for you, and you won’t have to keep changing out filter floss. You could just throw a filter sock at where the water enters the sump to catch it all or just let it flow through. In my setup, I have about 600 gallons in tanks draining into a 150-gallon tub with live rock and a return pump. This added volume and biological filtration have made a huge difference in stability and ease of maintenance. The sump really simplifies everything and helps prevent issues down the road.
Ty so much for the consitency in video uploading 😊
My pleasure 😊 Thanks for watching!
This has got to be one of the coolest, if not the coolest aquarium/paludariums on TH-cam. Thanks for the Inspiration!
The narrated videos are so much better! Keep it up! 😁

unfortunately keeping them is very very difficult and they also need an established reef tank
Probably the best selection of animals ive seen in a reef tank
Awesome mate 🤙🏽
Looking great 🤩
Seriously the most exciting build out there right now
YAY!! UPDATE !!
Yes weer een nieuwe aflevering! Kijk er elke zondag naar uit! 🔥🐡👌

Very inspiring for sure! You outdid yourself buddy. Great job 👏🙌👌
rrrrrrrRREALLY loving this series!
man i love shallow tanks bro
They’re awesome! I don’t think I’ll ever get a “normal” tank :)
Did you ever find the pistol shrimp? Do you plan on removing it? I'd love to see more on the pistol shrimp you said hitchhiked to your tank! They're fascinating.
Such an awesome setup 👏👏
Loving how it is developing ! 😃🚀
Best wishes from germany 🇩🇪♥️
Enjoy your videos everytime 👍
Tank looks great! You got me ready for tank maintenance after my vacation!
It’s always a surprise to see what you come home to! Algae, but also growth! 🤩
Loving the series!
This is so nice u should add a mini school of Blue-green chromis
love this series!
Have you ever thought about running an ozone generator on your tank for 4 hrs a night. It is a great addition and stops bacteria from growing.
This is magical
European dutch legend 😂❤ looks awesome buddy
The ochrestriped cardinal fish look nice👌

@@Kaito028 Purple firefish and yasha goby would be great 👍 but damsels would be too territorial.
@@jessev2401 Yes, but I think Azure damselfish would be fine.
Absolutely! But taking things slow is key 🔑 in an aquarium. I could fill it up very quick, but it’s much more fun to do it slowly. 💪😉
@@DannysAquariums Sure. First Let the aquarium be established and slowly add the fish. Btw, I am your new subscriber and now I'm binging your videos.🥰
Hawkfish
I would love to see some small cuttlefish or flatfish in here. I think that would be epic!
I feed my fish a rotation of frozen brine frozen mysis and pods with occasional pellets. Upgrading to a 38 peninsula this month from my 13.5 cant wait.
i eliminated the sponge in my surface skimmer now it never clogs, i just clean the skimmer once a month along with my usual pump maintenance 👍

I Love this tank brooooo
Aquaforest 4life XD super cheap in Poland and they make full spectrum of foods, sands rocks etc. My Fish love the Artemia

You can buy seeds of the ninosa tree for couple of wiros
What type of coral are you plan of adding?
You should make a rain system using rain water meaning theres minerals incase anything gets into the tank this will run once a week
red bood worms are great feed if you can get them
Let’s see some other shellfish in there like green-lipped mussels or some other colorful shellfish like that
How do you keep the fish from jumping out?
Can i put fish in a one liter aquarium ? If yes what kind?
Mach eine schnellkuplung auf dem Schlauch zu Pumpe dann kannst es schneller abmontieren zum reinigen . Kosten paar Euro und machen alles stressfreier .
Yeah! I want to buy a bigger tub, one I can role around and have a heater and pump in there. Going to be so much easier! :)
are you worried about the fish jumping out of the tank without a lid?
한극에서 잘 보고 있습니다 :)
Thank you for watching!
How much do you spend on live food? Seems like quite a bit
voeg je ook garnalen, kreeften of krabben toe aan je aqurium???
Zeker! Dit ga ik binnenkort doen, wil eerst wat meer leven toebrengen aan het rif (koralen, wieren).
kinda wild you went without a sump for a tank this big
Why is that wild? 👀🙃

Where do you buy sponges and seasquirts?
Most saltwater fish stores should be able to order those for ya! :)
make sure u move those sponges if u do a bigger water change they cant be exposed to air
Yep! I should have mentioned that in the video, would be great information
What are the dimensions of the tank?
Tank size?
Please add Giant clams
any update sir?
Your channel gives me fish tank dysphmorphia 😅
You sound the same as one of my favorite minecraft youtubers
Is that good? 👀
Why dont they jump out?
@@rubr949 maybe bc its so nice in there 🤷🏻♀️
😊🎉
second!
Thanks for the support! 💪

You are, thanks for being here so early! 😎
How is millionaire life treating you? Barely surviving while watching my whole world fall apart here
You're claiming there's no maintenance in the TH-cam title, but in reality, you're performing maintenance in the video 😉
The first part of the video shows the saltwater paludarium after 10 days of no maintenance, in the video we “fix” it by doing maintenance 😉
@@DannysAquariums ok :) anyways its a beautiful paludarium👍
I wanna see a small eel in there
That would be a disaster with all the small fish in there now and the shrimp/crabs I plan on adding later on 😛
@ omg I can’t wait!
